I'm on the car ride home and moron 1 and moron 2 have got Limp Bizkit cranking, so loud that I'm getting a back massage from the sub. I like probably 2 songs from this band. But seriously, I think they suck.

Honestly, I like but I don't like Fred Durst or anything about the band itself.
Also, this reminded me of Disturbed. I just listened to one of their songs (Stupify). I love electric guitars, it brings energy to shit. But I can see them being a shit band with a great producer. I've never heard them live. They don't have amazing lyrics or anything, they probably suck live, but they sound legit when produced.

I like a few songs, but overall as a band no not at all haha. There songs where good in the football locker before my high school games to get us ready to f*ck shit up, but no other value other than that.
Yeah, I like some of Disturbed, but I think a lot of their songs sound the same. I like NOFX but I can admit that their lyrics aren't particularly fantastic lol. But their music is awesome. Fred Durst is a mega douche. I don't like to dis bands because it's each to their own. But Limp Bizkit is so crap that I cannot help myself.
Have you guys seen Fred Durst lately?
Yea...
I think his music kind of appeals to 15 year olds in that teenage angst phase. So yes, I used to listen to him, then I grew up and realized he has no talent.
Hey, you didn't answer the question, woman![]()
I liked them for a short time during highschool. Loved the song che linked to. And then I kept on hearing stories about Fred Durst, how he slept with the bass player's wife (which is why the bass player quit the band) how he talked about beating the crap out of the lead singer of Creed, and then turned down a charity boxing match with him because he was a pacifist or some bullshit like that... had a song about doing it "all for the nookie." All of this while proclaiming to be a christian.
The majority of their stuff sucks. Still like that one song, though. Anyhoo...
The only thing i have ever liked is his cover of behind blue eyes.
I used to listen to Limp Bizkit, like first two years of highschool. There are still few songs I'm really fond of (Behind Blue Eyes, Rollin, Eat You Alive) but that's about it.

Their two best songs are Faith and Behind Blue Eyes... both covers.
Otherwise they suck. Unfortunately 15 year old me had three of their albums. Yes it was a dark time in my life lol.

It's like Linkin Park, but angrier, in my opinion. It's mindless noise to occupy space in most cases, so I don't mind it too much.
However, after reading the world's greatest book, John Dies at the End, I've gotten an affinity for Fred Durst. I'd trust him with my life and take any advice he gave me.

SPOILER!!:
You have to remember that they were what was big at the time. Korn suddenly got big, and Limp Bizkit followed. Linkin Park is on the shallow end for the Nu Metal movement, and that whole scene eventually died off. Music was generally lacking at the time. Your biggest acts were N'Sync, Brittney Spears, Limp Bizkit, Eminem, etc., etc. The main stream media was in disarray. They're not contenders for serious artists now. Korn maybe, because I heard they just released an Electro Dubstep mix and have been teaming up with some big names in that movement. I will have to hear it to believe it. It's a little strange to me.
Fred Durst is not a real artist. Just some guy who got really lucky and his style created an unfortunate trend. I doubt he did it all for the Nookie either.
