Okay, this is my first thread, so bear with me!
I can't seem to choose between Odin and Bahamut. I mean, Odin is a badass warrior who turns into my favourite animal. And Bahamut is this awsome looking dragon-ish.....thing who turns into a super badass dragon! And he can fly too.
But what are your thoughts?
I can't say I have a favorite. The one I've used most so far would be Hecatoncheir, but that's only in conjunction with Vanille's Death ability. If I truly had to choose one, it'd probably be Bahamut just because of what he looks like.

The only trouble I had with Hecaton, is that he can't heal Vanille. But that eidolon is awsome nethertheless! Bahamut is epic, appearance and his attacks
I have a Bias against Bahamut in this FF mainly because its Fangs Summon. I hate how she basically got the best of everything yet she was really unimportant to the story up until she joins the team 10/13ths of the way through the game.
I voted for Odin because its the one I use the most because Lightning is usually my leader. Odin is also cool because lightning/electricity is my favorite element and he also has a rare chance of instantly killing things.

On topic, Bahamut is awesome, but I used Odin the most.

I gave it to Bahamut, not because of his appearance or abilities, but because of my biased opinion on him. A pink Bahamut doesn't set well with me.
Other than him, I choose myself. Or Hectoncheir, it's good to see more Mythology used, which I believe is Greek.

Hecatoncheir is indeed Greek. Odin is Norse/Nordic.
I didn't really have a favourite. I did like Odin and Bahamut. Shiva was pretty awesome too. I used Bahamut more than the others though, so I might have to go with that one - Fang was usually my lead when I was Ingot and Trap farming.

I usually use Odin, but he has trouble Staggering. So I use Bahamut on hard enemies.
My favorite is Alexander. Mainly because it isn't like the rest. All of them are pretty cool, but I have always liked Alexander more. And not just in FFXIII, I liked him in VIII as well. I just wish that was a useable Eidolon in IX.
my fave is probably Hecatonheir, because of Vanille's noises while it's summoned lol
visually i prefer Alexander
i have to say alexander he is beast and so is hope, he is always my leader. He has the best magic out of everybody and his magic is higher than the highest person's strength
OK I haven't actually gotten past the Shiva Sisters (I just got to nautulis before Sazh finds Dajh) so they are my favorite. I do have to ask is that list the order they apear in?

fave is Shiva, only just beating Bahamut

Well, I've always been a sucker for Shiva so I think she is the best. I like to make Snow the leader just so I can use Shiva.

Can't disagree with Bahumut and Shiva, two of my favs, they need to make Shiva more powerful.
Eh, I think all the Eidolons are fine gameplay wise.

I love bahamut!! Even if he couldn't fly I would still love him. Don't ask me why because I don't know, I just do.
I agree with nickness on liking Hecatoncheir because Vanille seems to be having a __ when Hecatoncheir uses final attack.
Why am I not surprised that Bahamut is the favorite Eidolon. Doesn't he win any contest that he's in? He is good, but I chose based on look and fighting prowess that's why I chose Shiva.

My favorite would have to be Bahamut, for one, he was the only one to give me a serious run for my money when I was trying to get him. Actually Odin was pretty annoying as well but I didn't die 30,000 times trying to get him.
Bahamut's attacks are pretty pimp, plus he's Fang Eidolon and Fang is also pretty awesomesauceness.
After Bahamut.......probably Odin but Bahamut pwns all the way.

Funny nobody's mentioned KOTR... I guess because it sucked.
KOTR as in from FF7, yeah I never got that summon, said screw it once I figured out what you had to do to get it. Plus I ran through FF7 so fast, I missed damn near all the summons, think I got 7 altogether when I beat it.

In any other FF, I would've said Bahamut, but I didn't like his Gestalt mode. So my pic is Odin.
You'll have your reward for finding me, and don't think of running off without collecting. My shot is faster, or my names not Balthier.
My favorite is Alexander, and no, it's not just because of my name! xD
He's different from the others. He just stands there with his super armor and kick a%! with the enemies!
