If I'm by myself, or around someone who I'm comfortable venting my frustration around, I might let out a few curses. In any case, depending on how immediate and inflicting the bad news' effects are, I might get flustered or frustrated, and lose a bit of my concentration. Obviously, if it's not horribly bad news or has no immediate effects, though, I'll be fine. Anyhoo...

Just stare or listen to music ..... depends I guess but those are what I do most often.

"Hey dude! Wrong place! This isn't The Lord of the Rings."
"Really? Are you sure . . . I mean . . ."
"I'm sure now go! Yeah now get out of the spotlight. I have some Deepground soldiers to shoot."
I usually kill the carrier of bad news...
...but seriously, it depends how bad the news really are, I'm calm, or at least appear that way in most situations though.

I handle it and just do whatever needs to be done. Most of the time with bad news, like really bad news, there's not much that can be done, except for making any preparations or taking any actions based on whatever the news is. I just get shit done and deal with everything as it comes.

What I do is cry and scream... I recently got dumped and used and that hurt...![]()
First I kill all victims in sight, then I go about with my plan to annihilate humanity.
...THAT, or I just find a time to vent. It really does depend on the severity of the matter. Did someone die? Am I fired from my job? Do we STILL not know how many licks it takes to get to the tootsie-roll center of a tootsie-pop? (Shut up, Mr. Owl. >__<) I might be able to brush it off, and just accept things.
Of course, if its REALLY bad news, things change. I may explode on the spot, or keep things in until I break.

I'm going through a bit of a The World Ends With You phase right now.Click THERE:
I usually kill myself when I get bad news. Sometimes it's a bullet to the brain; sometimes it's C4 strapped to my chest in a crowded train station. I like to surprise myself.
That's actually a blatant lie. When I hear bad news, I just deal with it and concentrate on something else. Dwelling doesn't solve anything. It just makes me anxious, and that gives me stomach ulcers.
I have dealt with bad news multiple ways. It just depends on the situation that the bad news is about.
Let's go into the "archives" in "Washington D.C." and find out how people "masturbated" in the "roaring 20's."
Crao Porr Cock8. Bitch.
I agree, it depends on the severity of bad news. Bad news for some might only be a blip on the radar for others.
In the past, when I've gotten bad news I tended to call a close friend/family member. When my FIL took his life back in April, I called one of my close friends and freaked out over the phone while waiting for my guy and his family to get to the house.
Sulk. And/or cry. Maybe swear and shout abit
Depends on the news and who's telling me it.
Sometimes I'll take it with a pinch of salt and deal with it. Sometimes I'll curse inside my head. Sometimes I'll curse quietly. Sometimes I'll curse loudly. Sometimes I get frustrated with bad news, and I'll kick or punch something stupid - like a wall. A really hard looking wall.
Sometimes I'll just cry. =(
