Game trades

Have you ever traded game consoles or just games with other people? which game systems or games did you trade for and what did you think was the best trade?

I traded my N64 with games and stuff for a SNES with games. I really wanted to play a super nintendo again and this was a good chance for me to do so. I don't really play my N64 anymore and so I was willing to give mine up.

Back in the day, we traded a game called "Xenophobe" for "Ice Hockey" with our cousins. I enjoyed Ice Hockey more, so that was a good trade. Back in the day, when sports games were fun.

I also traded FF7 for Kingdom Hearts II, which I haven't played yet. It was with the idea that we'd eventually trade back, initially, I think. Now, however, I'm pretty sure I'll never see that copy of FF7 again. That wasn't a good trade. But yeah; back in the day, that was the way to do it; trade a game for a game for a while, then get the game back. That's how I played a lot of my SNES favorites for the first time: Kirby Super Star, Super Mario RPG, Donkey Kong Country 3 (really liked it at the time) etc. Anyhoo...

My brother traded his Metal Gear Solid 4 for one of my Harvest Moon games. How did that happen? Well, he was in town for a week, and he wanted something kind of relaxing to play. I offered him a Harvest Moon game, and he asked if I had played MGS4 yet. I said no, so he lent it to me for the week. When the week was up and he had to go back to Vegas, he had to leave in a hurry, so he left without MGS4.

Got a call later on saying to go ahead and keep the game, because he went ahead and just picked up another copy of it. He still has my HM game, but I have like 2 other ones I can play, and they're pretty much the same thing, so no big loss on my part.

So that was the best trade, I think. Other games I've traded? Can't really recall anything at the moment, but I'm sure I did that at some point in my life.

I remember trading two, maybe three games so far, there were few cases where I would ask someone to trade and he would just say "meh, just take it", that's how I got few games for my GB. The best trade I made was my Tomb Raider Chronicles which was a terrible game by the way, for Discworld II: Missing Presumed...!?, still one of my favorite games.

I remember trading Rainbow Six Rogue Spear for Dragon Ball GT: Final Bout, dumb decision on my part, the game was terrible, it was on French I couldn't understand a thing, but what can I say I was in Dragon Ball hype back then.

I trade with friends a bit.
Got a bunch of gba games mostly mario and pokemon (can never have too many copies of leaf green) recently for a spare gears of war 2 I acquired.
Due to someone going home from uni without telling me I've ended up with Left for dead 2 in exchange for viva pinata, I think I win.

I made an amazing trade one time!

I have a neighbour that I don't really know and my brother was talking to him and his cousin that was at his house for a few days so this neighbour asks my brother if I wanted to buy any games from him. I was like "I have no money but I have Devil May Cry 3 upstairs if I could trade with you". At that time, it was brand new so he said that he would trade it for Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophesy which is by the same people that did Heavy Rain) and I was like cool!

It was a great trade for me.

I tried to go into Gamestop to trade a game in once but thought much better of it when they didn't give me anything worth while in return so I have never traded anything with stores but I do have one trade that I can remember with one of my friends.

We both enjoyed the Dragonball series as kids and the games were fun to play so I came across Dragonball Z Budokai 2 and I saw him playing Shadow of the Colossus and I offered to trade him DBZ Budokai 2 for his copy of Shadow of the Colossus, great trade in my opinion bc I loved playing SotC.

Ah I made a trade once.. my game was so boring.. but I managed to get Devil May Cry for it in return. Yes my game was so bad I even forgot the name of it... Seriously <<;;

I also once traded a PS2 console for a bunch of DvDs... That was a good deal! (As I had a spare console going haha.)
