Anyone know if it will be on something else than cell phones and not in japanese?
I really like a PSP or DS version of that game, even if it got similar graphics.

I've been looking it up for ten minutes, I found nothing but if you put "Final Fantasy" and "7" aaand "Remake" in the same sentence, every other word you type is forgotten, and all you see is "Final Fantasy 7 Remake!?!?!?!?" all over the place on google. Ahaha. Sorry man, I tried.

I doubt that we'll be seeing the game any time soon, if at all. There was plans to release an English version back in 2006, but those plans got scrapped. You can find game scripts though if you google it, if you just want to find out what happens in the story, but as for actually playing it, sorry.

I feel the same way I was really looking forward to it coming out on PSP when I found out about the other 2 games but alas I fear we in America will never see it much like many other FF and FF related games.

I thought it was mostly the Kingdom Hearts final mix games and Before Crisis that hasn't been released outside Japan..

The Hikarino 4 Senshi game is coming to North America sometime, though the release date has yet to be determined (source), and FF IV: The After Years is available through the Wii Download play.

Good to know I hadn't heard anything on that yet but then again I just got the internet again after being homeless for about a year.....but that isn't important. As for The After Years I don't own a Wii yet so thats why i didn't know that. but thanks for the info Dodie. Much appreciated ^_^

That is messed up. Because they clearly state in CC that in order to fully understand the characters in the game, you need to play BC as well. Well, at least for that girl Turk, I can't remember her name right now. =\

Cissnei was her code name, don't remember if her real name was revealed in CC..

Yeah, they don't reveal her real name in CC. Only in BC. That's the main reason I wanted to play the game so that I could figure out her REAL story. There's a whole dimension which we're missing out on.

Her real name is whatever you choose it to be in Before Crisis. She's known only as Shuriken (Female) until you actually name her. And you can read the script for Before Crisis by using Google if you really want to.

I was so hyped when I heard about this game-
"A game where you get to play as turks, cool!"
I got my hopes crushed down when I heard it was only for cellphones....
and it got even more crushed after I heard it was only available in Japan =/
Well there is still hope that 1 day Square Enix will release it for the psp =D

Figured I would go ahead and bump this for anyone that was interested:

Final Fantasy XIII Agito' director Hajime Tabata has said that if he had a choice of game for the 3DS, it would be a remake of Before Crisis -Final Fantasy VII-. Tabata went on to say he isn't alone in this - Yoshinori Kitaste and Tetsuya Nomura have also indicated interest in reviving the mobil-exclusive game. Officially, this is only Tabata's personal desire and not an announcement of such a project.

With so much on SE's plate right now, I'm not sure how long it will be before we see something like this, if it does indeed happen at all. However, I think I'd be interested in getting it, especially after hearing the gameplay would be reworked to be a lot more action-oriented. Probably would play like Crisis Core, which was pretty fun to play through.

Someone has uploaded the game on there and it rocks!!! Soooo gutted I can't get that game, it looks pretty good

They have to make it on 3DS, that is something i would buy as soon as it comes out.
