What does enfire/enwater even do for a ravager?
I am not sure, but I *think* it makes it so if you cast Enfire because the mob is weak to fire, your Ravager spells will all count as fire damage.
For example:
Ravager+Enfire, mob is weak to fire.
Ravager casts Thunder, does Thunder spell but counts as fire damage.
I could be wrong, though.
edit: if this is true, it would be beneficial to cast en-whateverthemobisweakto, and use the AOE thunder spells, as they have a knockdown effect on small enemies.

It gives the weapon that element...so their attacks pick up that element like waterstrike firestrike ect....
I dont beleive it counts for magic though whatever magic is flung out will still be that magic I am fairly certain it only applies to physical attacks

I sussed out what the Enfire was, it's the barfire, barwater etc that I dunno anything about lol
You should be able to see the element damage as you attack, and with the Enwater you will notice little bubbles floating around the weapons![]()

All it does is change your physical power. Commandos can now strike with fire, dealing more damage to enemies who are weak to it.
When Ravagers know an elemental weakness, all of their commands for that turn will
focus on that weakness. Enfire and Enwater doesn't change the element grid for them, as far as I can tell.

the Enfire/Enwater etc spells are only effective with physical attacks, and add the element to your weapon.
My only synergist is Hope and I don't think I've gotten him that far, so thanks for the info it will help when I get there.
Enfire and Enwater do the same thing for any character who is in battle all it does is attatch the element to the weapons so it is best used for someone in the commando role but sometimes ravagers have a small amount of physical attacks and it could help against any enemies with the recommended elemetal weakness during a fight.
I agree, Sazh is an awesome Synergist, but I never have him in my team in the later stages of the game, Synergist is the only rank he's actually good with in my opinion, so I usually choose characters that are good at a mix of things. Usually Fang/Vanille/Hope or Lightning/Fang/Vanille.
