You do realize it's a joke, right? Unless you just wanted us to read this satire of game publishers cashing in on thier franchises by churning out sequels as quickly as possible, which I admit is pretty funny.

I really hope you don't think this is real. The title alone gives it away, not to mention this:

First off, the title should absolve me of any assumed idiocy. second, You have to admit that valve has a tendency towhore out a franchise much like capcom. and third, I'm too tired to think of a real third one right now, I'll see ya later. night.

Too bad it doesn't. To absolve yourself from any known idiocy, you would have to have not created this thread. The joke isn't even relevant anymore considering the release date specified passed by months ago.

... the second one has only just come out. Sure, plans for the third could be under way, but... lol, the third game coming out before the second? It screamed fake before I clicked the link.

Valve hasn't whored out a game yet... Left 4 Dead? TWO GAMES? GUYS, TEAM FORTRESS GOT WHORED OUT, THEY MADE 2 GAMES. Guys Counterstrike did also, you know, 1.6 and Source, but the most whored out game is Half Life, I mean they are on HALF LIFE 2!

A sequel only one year from the original is a little suspect, but I think Valve thoroughly proved that Left 4 Dead 2 was more than just a cash in.

Left 4 Dead 2 is way better then the first, I got bored of the first one when I beat every Campaign on Expert which happened in a matter of a month.

L4D2 though makes it more fun IMO. I haven't been bored yet.

(But that could be because I don't own it lol)

I get bored of both of them rather quickly. It's not really my type of game.

L4D2 gets boring still, every level is cool for so long. Just hope they do better then L4D and add more levels more often. Crash Course was a cool level. But like I said, since I don't own it, I don't get bored of it as fast as I would if I owned it.

l4d = fps for idiots, same goes for mw2 and the BF series.

Gief more games like CS and TF tbh, im getting tired of the games industry with all these developers churning out sequel year after year just to make a quick buck.

WoW is about the only game i enjoy these days and thats not saying much, i miss my fps games

The only thing that keeps L4D(2) still fun for me is trying to go threw every Campaign on expert with out having your health go less then 50. Which is more fun then it sounds.
On Topic:
I don't see what would be wrong with a Third game, I remember when a lot of people bitched about making L4D2 DLC, hopefully we won't have to go threw that bullshit again

I wont argue that resident evil sucks. Nor will I say that L4D is without it's faults. but you have to admit that capcom sort of dropped the ball with resident evil 5. My problem is that they forced an assload of backstory down our throats and made it less of a game of survival and more of a game of scarfing down herbs and shooting where the laser was pointing. In my opinion, L4D is superior because of the extremely necessary teamwork and fast paced action. But hey, that's just my side of the story, and I only played a few hours of RE5 anyway. So, L4D for the win, I guess.
