My Favorite Soda is *Drum roll*
It's all about the DP, DR. THUNDER is the runner up. I love Canada Dry too, when it comes to carbonated stuff, I also like sparkling fruit waters.
Also, I've said this before and I'll say it again: DON'T DRINK HAWAIIAN PUNCH !!!!!! unless you want diabetes.

My favorite soda is Diet 7Up/Sprite/Root Beer. Yes, Diet. =P
I'm trying to slim my figure, so I can't be drinking regular soda.
I'm one of those weird people who never developed a taste for soda drinks. I'll drink Root Beer occasionally, but it's not very often that I do. I guess I don't like the feel of the carbonation in my mouth, and I find that soda doesn't quench my thirst.
Click at your own risk.:
That's because it dehydrates you. XD
I'm one of those weirdos too, although I used to drink soda on an almost daily basis. I just lost the taste for it or something, I guess. Every once in a great while I will drink a soda, usually if I go out to eat somewhere. Unless I'm sick. Then warm ginger ale is a must, but that has nothing to do with taste lol.

You two are weirdSoda is amazing. My favorite is coca cola or pepsi cola. Maybe both mixed together in a "graveyard" of some sort. Or pepsi with Mountain Dew. Y'know, I think I heard you can use coca cola to clean grease stains off certain surfaces, and that it can eat through stuff! (I can't remember what; my brain is tired.) ...that doesn't necessarily sound appealing to drink, does it? Oh well.
I find I drink soda when I want to get fat. And damn your fruit waters, Gypsie Elder!! Anyhoo...
Wuv, Yer Mom
I used to drink a lot of soda, but I've pretty much stopped. Especially during college where I didn't have the budget for soda. After drinking too much mountain dew at work I just called it quits. Though I still like the taste of soda, so I drink sprite which is minus the caffeine. It's still got the sugars and things, but I dropped the caffeine. I eventually plan on dropping sprite, I drink almost nothing but water these days apart from the milk in my cereal and orange juice that accompanies the breakfast.
A fun carbonated flavored water is Clearly Canadian. I used to drink it when I was younger and my parents bought it, but its not really worth the price. That and I'm giving up soda.
Curious? There's no limits but your own imagination.

It is actually a very good cleaning liquid. Also pretty good at removing rust. I don't know about eating through stuff but Coke and Mentos is a WIN.

Nowadays I tend to shy away from soda, and drink Gatorade and Powerade. The reason being I exercise alot, and the last things I need is a massive cramp in the middle of a three mile run.
Back in high school when all I drank was soda my favorite was definitely Mountain Dew. A close second would be Dr.Pepper, or the generic version brought to you by wal-mart Dr.Thunder.
I think I will take a little break from all my gatorade/powerade intake. If I am not wrong I believe wal-mart still carries Sam's Choice brand carbonated water, with delicious flavors like Strawberry, Strawberry-Kiwi, and the ever so yummy white grape. Anyway I think I will go and buy oh say 100 of em, and start drinking them...
I think they're just for some quick energy. I tend to stay away from drinks like that unless I know I'm going to be on my feet for a while. I guess they feel lighter so you don't feel like you're bloated out or something. *shrug*
As for energy drinks, my favourite is Relentless. I can't remember what it's called, but I like the green can. >>;;
Believe it or not, Gatorade and Powerade are just as bad as soda. Though, if you're an athlete they're good. If you're not active, though, they're bad for you.
QFT. They have I beileve as much sugar in them as soda if not more. Honestly I wouldn't tell anyone who isn't an athlete to drink them, they have all kinds of ingredients that if they don't get burnt as fuel qucikly turn into fat. Also a little side note, the best way to drink gatorade/powerade is diluted in water. I guess it is cause water goes through your body quicker than any other substance, therefore by diluting it the supplements found in gatorade/powerade enter your blood stream quicker....That there is your science fact of the day![]()
cheerwine is good shit, sucks that it's only in north carolina
sunkist/sprite are fantastic
On sports drinks:
"According to researchers at the University of New Mexico, unless a person is going to exercise for at least 90 minutes, consuming the carbohydrates is self-defeating. While sports drinks containing carbohydrates may aid the body in absorbing water, there is no evidence that the body actually retains the water more effectively than if water were consumed on its own, and therefore is not more effective at battling dehydration. The leading brands of sports drinks on the market typically contain as much as two-thirds the sugar of sodas and more sodium. They also often contain high-fructose corn syrup (HFCS), artificial flavors, and food coloring, none of which belong in your body. If you are exercising to lose weight and get into shape, you should know that sports drinks and energy drinks will cause weight gain, similar to drinking soda. It is a sad irony that many people work hard and sweat to lose weight, only to gain weight from drinking sports drinks. Unless you are exercising for more than 60 minutes at a time, sports drinks are unnecessary. It’s only when you’ve been exercising for longer periods, such as 60 minutes or more, or at an extreme intensity, such as on a very hot day or at your full exertion level, that you may need something more than water to replenish your body."
I'd say treat sports drinks like soda: a rare treat.
I don't drink soda much anymore. Or at all, really. I get water or iced tea at restaurants and I certainly don't buy soda for my own fridge. I can't finish a can of it anymore. It has become like a dessert. Recently, a friend of mine bought a Coke from a vending machine and I had a sip of it when it was still ice cold. It was tasty, no doubt about it, but I was reminded of why I don't use sodas as a method to quench thirst.
But if I were to name sodas that I'd enjoy a couple sips of before trying to pass it off to someone else... Jones Cream Soda, Cheerwine, and Root Beer were favorites... so were Dr. Pepper and Red Cream Soda. And Gingerale. I admit that I'd enjoy a few sips of any of those. But I'd have to share with someone, and they'd have to drink most of it.
Are you kidding? Don't drink ANY soda!Originally Posted by Mistress Sheena

Because the artificial sweetners used in diet drinks are much better for you than sugar, AMIRITE? XD.
I used to drink 'soda' all the time, i'm not entirely sure why because i rarely enjoy them. Sports drinks like lucozade however are a different story, I mostly take them when i'm doing sports, but sometimes i just randomly buy them because I like the taste >.>. I'd stay away from junk like Relentless, Red Bull and anything like either of them, purely based on the sheer amount of sugar/fructose/whatever else is in them haha... I read the label on one and a single can had over 100% of your daily sugar intake in it haha, awesome XD.
I only seem to drink tea, coffee, water, fruit juice and protein shakes these days haha, but if i do have a soft drink it'd be a Dr Pepper... yum!
Big Red. Big Effing Red. Tried it while visiting my girlfriend's folks in Texas and have been jonesing for it ever since. Shame I can't get it up here... Since NH is rather barren of Big Red, I guess it's a tie between Coke and Dr Pepper.
I miss Vanilla Coke too.
Although, you can use Vanilla flavoured vodka and mix it with regular coke and it tastes the exact same... except it gets you SMASHED. Lord almighty....
Anyways, you peeps and your "soda".I don't drink pop. I really don't have the taste for it. If I do, then I prefer Diet Ginger Ale. Although I'd much prefer carbonated water or "fizzy water" as my Mom likes to call it, with a slice of lemon and lime.
Cuz I'm frou-frou like that.
You what's really gross? Club soda, don't drink that crap it's carbonated gunk. My dad was trying to get m e to drink that for a while, and when I finally did I thought, " why would you buy this ?"
EDIT: lol Tiff, you posted that just before I posted mine, how could you drink that?![]()

Its really easy actually, you open the can... pour into a glass.... enjoy!
I started drinking it when I made the decision to stop drinking pop. At the time I was trying to cut out sugar and figured this was the next best thing. It grew on me. Doesn't hurt that my entire family likes it too though.

My favorite sodas to drink are: Coca-Cola, Cherry Coke (i miss the old logo they used to have with the big red letters and the dark background), mountain dew, md code red, Dr Pepper, Cherry Dr. Pepper, 7UP, Pepsi, Wild Cherry Pepsi, Root Beer, Orange soda *resists urge to quote Kel's famous line*. I do drink plenty of water though even though i got several soda favorites haha.

Well then let me help you out with that.
That sounds really good, actually. One of my favorite drinks is a combination of coke and coconut rum. It's like when I drink it I'm on a tropical island or something!Originally Posted by Tiffany
I also really like Dr. Pepper. I find he gives terrible medical advice however.
Let's go into the "archives" in "Washington D.C." and find out how people "masturbated" in the "roaring 20's."
Crao Porr Cock8. Bitch.
Mr. Figaro: I used to love Wild Cherry Pepsi, but then I drank it too much, and it lost its appeal with me. I still have a really old school can, though. The one with the more... (*groan* I can't think of a better word to describe it) wild design, from the mid 90's. An invid is perpetually drinking from it (unless he's fallen down behind my TV set again...) I also really liked the blackberry flavored mountain dew.
Furthermore, I hadn't realized vanilla coke was gone...
Right now, I'm drinking a 2 Below Ale (from the New Belgium brewing company from CO.) What's yer favorite BEER, everybody? (Since we got into other drinks...) I really like Bigfoots, Dead Guys, and IPA's. The Rogue Brewing Company probably puts out my favorite beers. Anyhoo...

I have no idea if it's gone State-side or not. But in Canada, or at least where I live, it hasn't been seen in years.Originally Posted by Telegraph

Until now!
I've never been a huge fan of cream soda, but we had some in the house the other day. I realize that the most rejected soda is probably Grape, no one drinks that stuff, I mean at least orange has a brand "Sunkist".
Also RC is not that popular, probably because it's similar to coke and it's not around as much. I did like Big Red for a while, but it got gross fast....carbonated bubble gum.
People don't realize this but Mr. Pibb or however you spell it is not like Dr. Pepper how 7up is to Sprite...( Sierra Mist?). Mr. Pibb has like a candy taste to it, and it gets nasty after you drink it for a long time, especially when it gets flat blahg! it like coats your mouth.
EDIT: I love Wild Cherry Pepsi <3

Coke and Dr Pepper are both near the top of my favorite sodas to drink, but the only problem with both of them is that they have to be cold to drink, otherwise I hate the warm pop taste. Pibb I can drink at room temperature no prob. I have a newfound respect for Sprite, as it helps tremendously with hangovers. Mountain Dew is very sugary and goes well with Ranch flavored Doritos. The best/worst soda that I drink is Vault. Good, as it has a massive concentration of caffeine compared to all the other pop, and it is cheap, which is a plus! The bad thing is there is so much caffeine is that it hurts my stomach to take, lol.

And he would share, unless he was running low, haha. I either got my own that I'd probably make him finish, or we'd split. But I enjoyed that soda because I associated it with a special occasion.
