I named Shiva "Fred".. I thought it was hilarious. What are some of the funny things you've named your summons?

Ifrit - FLames
QuezacotL - Thunderbird (LoL!)
CarbuncLe - Ruby ('coz of the stone on her head)
Tonberry - KiLLer (the knife he hoLds, makes him Look Like a kiLLer!)
Pandemona - Winder (From the word Wind, 'coz he controLs winds)

I never changed the names of the other GFs.. 'coz it suits them very much, for me.. :-)

I personally haven't named my GF's anything funny, but I am a fan of the Spoony Experiment. He does those FF 8 vids on Thatguywiththeglasses.com. He has given his GFs some pretty hilarious names.

I can only remember that he renamed Ifrit "Fire Pubes".

This sounds kind of wierd, but at my school we post videos on youtube, and recently it has turned into a competition. I need something thats really funny, but not extremely crazy. heres some of the things i have. a blowhorn, water ballons, money.

when i was fighting ultimacia and she uses her summon, she said " i summon assmnch".....i think she calles her summon when ever you name squalls neckless in that scene with rinoa....i thought is qwas pretty good

Cactaur -> Spiky

Those were the only two I messed with for some reason. Other times I just put accents over every name haha.

hi i have named my G'FS a few time i have called shiva:icequeen ifrit :fireking quezicotal: sparky carbuncle :ruby diablos: chaos pandemona: windy siren : harpy cactuar:spikey tonberry: i couldent think of a name for him so i left it.and alexander: judgement.bahamut: dragoon i couldent think of a name either for eaden.as for brothers and doomtrain im not going to say as not to offend eneybody.

One time I named all of my GF's after my favorite cartoon characters except for Doomtrain. Like Diablos was Batman, Shiva was Sailor Moon (I think), Ifrit was Human Torch but Doomtrain was RunBaddie! It was I think my fourth time through the game so I was bored haha.

I have never renamed my GF's even though I have had some good ideas for names however I helped my missus through this game and she renamed some of them with the names I suggested. However it does not really affect the game in any dramatic way so it is not really necessary to rename them but then again that is personal choice.

Cerberus = Spot or Fido or YoDawg (i herd u like dogs so we put a dog in yo dog in yo dog, dawg)
Alexander = McGuyver
Leviathan = Freud
Bahamut = Kain
Pandemona = Flappy
Griever = BumFluff or MeowMix or Sh**Balls ("I summon ...!")

I think thats works best for the nerrative, but GFs are explicitly referred to as pets in this game.
