I wanted to go for Nomura's "the world ends with you look" in that pic, but appraently it wasn't specific enough.Thanks for the advice lol. So what do you think of this next pic:

As for your art, I like it. Its got some good character Just keep up your hard work because I know I sure can't color like that on my computer.

Wow, they're really good!

I think you just need to smoothen up some of the edges a bit, especially on the faces. And toning down the saturation slightly could be good, too. But the detail is brill, you did a lovely job . Definately better than anything I could've done! Haha.

I did art and designing in college and I think you definately have skill as a manga artist. The only critique I can offer you is to continue looking back at past pieces at your own work and deciding where any flaws might be.

That's how I perfected my people-portrait method and it worked wonders.

I hope you post more artwork in the future!

You have the colors down pretty good, actually. I especially like how you did the eyes. The only advice I can give you is to study anatomy some more as their bodies are out of proportion a tad. Mostly the size difference with the head and body(the heads are a bit big in the Shinra Reborn pic) and maybe some working on the hands(fingers.. they're a bitch to draw ><). I hope to see some more of your work. Post some soon!

In that imageshack link it looks as though you're working at it from line to line, using the last stroke as a reference for the next instead of adhering to a "big picture" vision.

In the imageshack pic, I was doing a quick sketch. I worked on it with a a 2H pencil, then I quickly sketched it with a mechanical pencil.
My tablet is at my other house, so I could not ink it
