Wow I really liked your second drawing, the sun and moon had a great look to them and the house wasn't over-loaded with details, and the oriental feel was quite nice too.
I have to be honest though I don't like your first drawing very much, the whole body just looks a little wrong. But however drawing the human body in the correct proportions is something a lot of artists have problems with so here's a little advice the arm when held against the body touches the waist about half way up the forearm, and the neck is about twice as long as it should be, it would look a lot better if the chin overlapped the collar. It may seem a little nit-picky but it doesn't take much to throw the figure off completely, it always helps to have someone to compare the figure with while you're drawing. Just give it a little practise and you should see an improvement fairly quickly

You say emo like it's something to be proud of.
Anyway, drawings are nice I guess. I can't really draw well myself (that or I am always too lazy to try hard enough) so I'm not going to sit and judge them.
I think the 2nd is the best, and as loner kid said the sun and the moon look great, hope to see some more soon![]()

Um. I guess you're not being sarcastic with the "Emo" thing, since your drawings and sig seem to be, er.. nonconformist, with a lavish portion of hyperbole on the side.
As an artist, I have to say that the first one is rather primitive. The wings look really jerky and disjointed and to be honest, the technique's not great. Proportions are way out, hands and feet need a lot of work...
The second one's better, but it's by no means a masterpiece. For a 2-D it isn't bad, I guess.
Keep practicing and you'll get better.

If it was in colour it's the type of thing I'd buy for my walls.
I like both of them to some extent, especially the second. It's pretty damn trippy...
I'm not really a fan of most art claiming to be emo, especially the bleeding hearts, human mutilation, demonic/undead stuffed toys and the like, but the 'Gate of Heaven' looks sweet.
My only gripes are that the guy looks a bit like an emo troll to me, and I'm not exactly known for my love of all things emo, but as that's impairing my ability to be fair with my judgement, I'll just say you did a good job of it.![]()

Thanks for the complements and critsizm everyone!
Well to everyone that said that the Judge of the Dead looks out of proportion, it's because I have never been the best at drawing the human figure, or anything living for that matter...
And the reason for the Gate of Heaven only being 2-d and not 3-d is because I am good at drawing backrounds and landscapes and such, but I am not the best at shading and 3-d effects.
But thanks again!
I will post more soon, when I draw again...

I love the second drawing.
Pretty creative.
Although it riminds me of the Wutai Temple from Crisis Core.

Thumbs up.

For the Judge of Death, I think you haven't done half bad. I mean I took art in High school (expecting my result ^^;; ) and could never draw people. So to me that look awesome. Like others have mentioned, it is a bit out of proportion but you'll figure out whats right with practise.
As for the second one, I'm wondering what infulenced you. To be it seems heavily based of Japanese religion Shinto but I say that since I did a piece on it. With the sun and the moon it seems so. If there was so element of water or storm in it then I'd be screaming that you got your ideas from it xD That aside, its very good. I'd say you've paid attention to detail with all the little things here and there too. In colour I'm sure they'd both look amazing.

I liked the second one best, I liked how you drew the moon.![]()
I like how the gateway looks. Throw in some color, and it'd look pretty cool. The first one's lines are too soft. You need to darken it a little around the right leg. Other than that, it's fine.
You're about as good as my best friend was when he was in 7th grade. That isn't good, but it isn't bad either. It's rather pretty basic for most people who have some level of artistic experience.
The first picture has some interesting details, but as Lily mentioned, the wings, hands and feet need a lot of work. Only thing I could recommend is practicing, and we all have our own ways of doing that.
The second drawing is definitely better, though doesn't look that difficult. I mean, it's basically a building with some lamps and a fence. Anyone with a ruler could put that together. Still, it is definitely nice and the sun/moon actually does look cool.
So yeah, just keep practicing (particularly on regular art and not anime), and you should improve. The way I improved was by simply redrawing a picture from a movie, another piece art, and trying to repeat the technique used. Once you have sort of a technique and a certain understanding of physics, it becomes a little easier. Learning how to draw things from different perspectives is very important.
P.S. - I agree with Jesus. The whole emo thing isn't something to be proud of, though I think the term for the first picture would be lean towards "goth". Emo is a fancy version of goth fashion cause quite often, goths don't try to look pretty.

Thanks you the comments and critisism again peoples. It really helps, in a sense. I have been working really hard on my next drawing, and I will be sure to post it as soon as possible.
So what I can't be proud to be different? I am emo yes, and I embrace that fact, I am also proud! I am different and that is who I am.

Personally, I like them both. I know the first one looks a little out of proportion, but sometimes, Art isn't about proportion. To me, its about being a little on the wild and experimentation with all sorts of media (jeese, I wish I thought like this when it came to my art exam LOL) and stuff.
Although, the first one can be improved...
And, I really like the second! I love oriental styles and images of drawing and painting (espec the advert for the Olympics!). Now, this is just an idea - don't do it incase it turns out wrong (unless you have a good photocopier) - just paint it with very light water colours, only painting from left to right and back again.
Of course, its up to you what you do with them, so don't do anything unless you are really sure!
