Handwriting!!!

For no real reason, I am interested in other's handwriting on the forum. We don't often (If at all) get to see how others write over the Internet, so this could be a good opportunity, yes?

Here's mine!

The stuff at the bottom was meant to demonstrate my numbers and how I write my maths (hurriedly), but after finishing it, I realised it wasn't very varied. So I wrote all the numbers you see there. And the double line isn't an eleven for those of you picky enough to bother.

Brief description of my writing: Rather round and neatish. My words consist of a mixture of print and cursive letters. I generally write half a word in cursive and then print the rest. I seem incapable of having a uniform word unless I try really hard like I did for that scan. Hehe...

Goodness, you have very pretty handwriting, Rocco. I really like it, haha.. I just wrote you a little message with some ThouShaltNot lyrics. General description? It's messy... When I was about ten, school was practically a contest for nice handwriting, so I starting putting "x"s over my "i"s. It was silly. I'm lazy and they're just funny loopy shapes now. My handwriting's kind of spindly and loopy at the same time, erm... illegible, to be honest, to many people.

I haven't used actual cursive handwriting (aside from signing things) since early High School. That was so long ago, I've pretty much forgotten Cursive all together.

Oh and sorry, no scanner for me to scan my handwriting (so wait why did I post in here again? ^.^;;;;;, maybe when I get my new All in One Printer in a few days.

I luv your handwriting. I like all the interesting angles. And I could read the whole thing. That's rare. I don't often understand peopels' handwriting. ANN FTW.

Wow, we had one of these threads forever ago. It's nice to see someone else had the same idea and decided to bring this back. I always did think it was fun. I'll go write something down now and edit it into this post in a few minutes. I need to figure out what I want to write. ^^

Well, I thought I would post my writing. I can't use handwriting anymore, the last time I did use it was when I was in primary school I think. I don't have the neatest writing in the world but if I can read it, that's the main thing. I can write neat though when I feel like it.



There you go, that's my writing. It's not the best but oh well. I like it at least. ^_^

Edit: I don't know where I learned to do my Z's like that. I just do it.

I have two styles of getting my words down myself. Completely and utterly messy with no regard whatsoever for the poor souls who might have to read it. And then typed. Like this. I prefer typed.

I don't really use handwriting much. I prefer typing, but anyway... I'll have a pic up of my handwriting as soon as I can wrestle my mum off the scanner. =P

Here's my handwriting. I got bored so I figured why not upload it. I tend to write a lot, but I don't really like writing. Writing usually brings out my perfectionist side and I tend to rewrite things multiple times. If I see a mistake I usually freak out and have to write everything over again. Also I can pretty much only write on lined paper. If I try to write on paper that isn't lined, it turns out pretty bad. I'm not sure how to describe my handwriting. I guess it is ok, but it could be better. Also if you haven't noticed, I can't do an ampersand (&). That's about as good as I could get it.

Here's mine - I've got three different types, depending on my mood and the time I've to write in. So, the hell with it. Here they all are. I've given you numbers and sentences too. Feel special? ><

General descriptions?

Italic - I use this when I've got plenty of time and I want it to look nice. It's, I don't know? Flowier than normal?
Normal - Generally round and clean.
Narrow - Taller and thinner. Generally when I'm in a rush.

If it had been the college writing class I was also taking at the time, I would've put Much more effort into it. anyways, here you go. I'd have to agree with Bleach, each of you who have said your handwriting is terrible don't know the definition of true chicken-scratch handwriting.

My signature changes depending on how my hand is working that day, and my handwriting has never been something to be considered legible when I'm writing quickly (as in, jotting down notes for school)


Dystopia, I actually quite enjoy yours.
My chef pretty much gets pissed whenever I write something on our order board and erases it and rewrites it in his own handwriting.
