AHHH Furuba lol ah yess i love the anime i only have up to vol 2 of the manga ;__; i gave up a long long LONG time ago when i heard that it was past vol 16 ......-___- BUT BUT I LOVE MOMIJI AWWWWWW >.< CUTE BUNNY AWWWW !!! ^^" but the manga is way better than the anime cuz it tells you more of the Fruits Basket story yup yup

That show was amazing. It had so many sad parts in it. Especially in that scene that you just reenacted.
I think the show ended at like the 6th or 7th manga of the series.

Too short, if you ask me... But, yea, if read all the manga, seen all of the anime episodes AT LEAST 10 times each, own A BUNCH of Kyo stuff, and just LOVE that series.
Speaking of sad scenes, what about the episode where Tohru has to go back to her Grandpa's house, but then, as she's crying and saying that she never wanted to leave Shigure's house, Yuki, who is RIGHT BEHIND HER, says "Then why not come back home?"

My favorite Characters were Shigure and Ayame. Who was your favorite characters? I'm going to guess maybe Kyo.
What about the time Hatori fell in love with his assistance. He went to akito to see if they could get married. Akito became mad and attacked Hatori, so he lost his eye. After that she blamed herself for what happened to him. Eventually he had to wipe her memory so she wouldn't be in grief anymore.

Kyo, Haru, Shigure, Ayame and Hatori... even tho that's alot... But you are lucky that I narrowed it down THAT much!

Wow, so many spoilers in this thread lol. Good thing I already know what happens. >.>;
Anyways, S819 actually got me to check this one out years ago. I'm not really into this particular kind of anime but I was surprised because I ended up liking it a lot. In fact, I own all the DVDs of it, though I haven't watched them in awhile. I think it's one of the few anime that nearly everyone likes even if they don't normally watch that genre. I have yet to meet anyone who has seen and doesn't like it.
My favorite characters are probably...Hatori (dragon...obviouslyI would like him anyways though, his character was extremely well done.), Ayame (he's so insane that I can't help but like the guy) and Shigure (Yay a fellow writer...I feel bad for his editor though lmao).
I wish they would do an anime sequal so it follows more of the manga. I haven't read it but I do know it has a lot more depth and I would love to see that incorprated into a second season of the anime. It'll probably never happen, but I can dream, right? XD

I really like Haru... He's bipolar, like me.... *sigh* "Birds of a feather...", right? I really like Kyo, though... His story is just awesome... I've always liked him, from the first episode I watched (the one with the rice ball stand and Yuki wearing a "festival dress"). But I would have to label Kyo as my favorite character, overall...

Kyo's cool without him the series would be dull and boring..... -sigh- thank god for kyo! AND without him tohru
wouldn't have found out about the sohma famliy secret. if it wasn't for him there would only be like 16 episodes so mainly kyo was the highlight of the show and it wouldn't have been so good if it didn't have kyo. -sigh- am i right?

Ah, Yes!!! I love fruits basket, it changed part of my life ^^ My fav characters has to be, Shigure, Hatori, Kisa, Momiji and Kyo. ^^

Its a very intriguing show actually. I love the characters, its just so humorous, and it ended sadly too. The zodiacs are so nice, I especially liked Yuki and Kyos fighting scens, and Shigure's attitude being a playboy. I loved the story, its awesome!

Yes, it is very funny. Especially when Kyo and Yuki always fight with one another. At the ending, it was kind of sad on how everyone had to seperate now that they're not Jyunishi anymore.

Fruits Basket is amazing! its one of my favorites ever!.. although the anime was a little too short, its totally worth checking out

I loooove Fruits Basket!!! I have seen a few of the episodes and read volumes 1-15. Ever since I first read and saw it, I feel in love with it. I love Kyo and Yuki how they fight over Tohru and how she hugs Kyo all the time(hahahaha). I loves how she spoils Momiji by cuddling him a lot. I really like how Ayame talks about her and messes with his brother. The so-called "trio" is funny, especially Shigure. It is the cutest romance/comedy anime I have seen/read.

Being so nice to all... Ahhh ^_^ Yes, Fruits Basket is a true delight to watch! However if you prefer more action animes this may not be the one for you...

Fruits Basket is probably my favorite anime, but I hear that the Manga is loads better. I haven't picked up any copies yet, so I can't tell you personally if this is true.
Kyo is my favorite character because of his hot-temper and charisma, and a close second would be Hatsuharu (Haru) because in the chinese zodiac I am the ox and he has the ox curse. Also, Haru has sort of a "dual personality", which is intriguing.
I highly recommend the show.

One thing is sure this is great anime. I just love Fruits Basket, have watched every episode 2-3 times, and I'm planing to watch it again.
Kyo is my favorite character because everyone thinks of him as a reject and also I love his personality. I hate that bastard that damn rat Yuki he goes on my nerves.

Yes. I have seen it and loooooooved it! I've seen a little of the anime but mostly read the manga up to volume 15. It is cute and just love it!
