TGS Final Fantasy Adventure is Remake of the Original

As promised, Square Enix has new details about their announced Final Fantasy Adventure game. The original Final Fantasy Adventure was released back 1991, which was not even a Final Fantasy game in Japan, but part of the Mana series that was renamed to be a Final Fantasy game when it was localized. Sword of Mana was a revision of this game, but the newly announced Final Fantasy Adventure is a remake of the original game for the 25th anniversary of the Mana series.

They also said that depending on how well this turns out they are looking at the other games in the series Seiken Densetsu, notably 2 and 3, which 2 saw release as Secret of Mana outside of Japan. They are also considering a PS4 port for Final Fantasy Adventure.

The 3D models look pretty good for the remake, I am hoping this does well enough to convince Square to remake SoM and Seiken Densetsu 3. Secret of Mana would be amazing in a remake and so would the 3rd game. I also wonder if this will give SD3 a chance of being officially released here in the US? There is a fan translation about but that's about what we english speakers get as far as the 3rd game goes.
