Play again or wait??

Hey guys been wanting to play this again, do you think I should go for it or just wait for the HD re-release? I haven't heard much news about a release date or anything so I'm leaning towards just replaying the original.

You should play it now. And then, play it again. And again. And again when it is released in HD.

Unless you have other things to do. And then, you should blow off those plans and play Final Fantasy X instead. Let the nostalgia consume you as you travel across Spira in an attempt to rid the world of Sin and save the summoner.

I have to agree with Michael and Noxious. Play that game now! Familiarise yourself with it again so once it comes out on PS3, you can play it again and you'll have the necessary knowledge to make getting the trophies/achievements a walk in the park! xD

If that's what you're aiming for on the PS3 version of the game i mean. Regardless, it's a game that can be played over and over so do it!

I've been meaning to play this one again as well. Who knows when the HD version will come out, X isn't a particularly hard game to play over and over so it shouldn't be too much of a problem for you.

I was debating this questions with myself about 6 months ago. I decided to wait because I love the portability of handheld consoles and would love to experience the game in a different way. Playing it again too soon before it is released would dampen the experience imo. I think you should wait.

Just finished watching the live feed of SCEJ PSVita broadcast..Hashimoto san showed a demo of the FFX HD version on the PSVita with new character models. There should be a video upload appearing soon on all the game sites.

My 2 cents, you should wait.

EDIT: Forgot to mention a release date was not set.

I guess it all comes down to if you own a compatible console or not. I cbf looking for info but it's gonna be for the PS3/Vita, right?

I'd say wait. If you've played it more then a few times I'd say wait for the HD release. There is a chance you will get burned out quick and not even want to play the HD release.

Thanks for all the suggestions, I own a ps2 and ps3 currently. I had heard that it would be coming to ps3 as well as the vita. I'm currently playing XII so that's what's making me want to go back and play X, I'm def going to look for that video that was mentioned on the character models
