Most Annoying Enemy From Any FF Series?

Who or what, is the most annoying enemy you have encountered?

I'm currently playing FF XIII and the most annoying is the Sanctum Inquisitrix! Only because of their deadly Somersault Kick. They aren't difficult to defeat, they are just so ANNOYING!

I hate fighting the Malboro in any game and guise. Its Bad/Putrid/Cloying Breath is annoying as heck when it lands because of the plethora of statis problems it can give you. Not to mention in X the kind that you fight in the Omega Ruins and inside Sin almost always ambushes you and when coupled with the 1/3 chance of it using Bad Breath means a game over wont be too far away.

Oh yeah the Malboros are definitely the first thing to come to mind here just because of the overwhelming bunch of status effects and the ability to attack the entire party at the same time with them.

If anything else I'd have to say that what gets on my nerves is time-sensitive battles like the various ''demon wall" enemies in IV, XII etc. It makes me have to plan out exactly what I'm going to do with everyone before the battle even starts and sometimes it's a bit unpredictable even then.

Most likely the Tornberry's, because they take so long to attack, and when they do it's usually lethal, so you tend to feel like you've wasted all that time defending yourself and you could've escaped battle and saved time.

You look at them and they just walk...and walk...and walk....in the mean time, you pound them hard and often...but they keep walking...and they finally get to you, then Karma Knife and you've most likely lost a party member and are close to loosing another.

Also, I found Cuchulain a total pain to deal with in FFXII.

Marlbors are the evilist of creatures! (The damn things prevent me from going to the Empereor on FFII and they stop me from traveling the Island closest to Heaven on FFVIII)

That bad breath attack is brutall. I usually only have one person who will go uneffected... Reguardless of which game... -.-

Yeah the Marlboros and Tonberry's are a pain in the ass. Especially the Mega Huge Tonberrys in X-2 in Via Infinito (or you can just CatNip and Trigger Happy their ass xP).

However, the most ANNOYING enemy i find, is the Gigantaur (Giant Cactuar) in XIII. The 10,000 needles pissed me off for days, until I realised it can be fogged (or pained) to stop attacking temporarily.

The behemoths on Gran Pulse in FFXIII. They were a pain in the butt because every time I got close to beating it it would shift to it's hind legs. Than it would saw my people to death .

Also annoying in XIII in particular, were those Pichu's that were in the Cie'th Stone Mission involving Neochu.

I would always try to complete this fight as soon as I possibly could, but it turns out that spamming Vanille's Death is effective, but if you're like me and like to complete a fight without the easy way out, then fighting Neochu for the CP Egg is just a pain in the ass. No matter what your paradigm deck is, if you want to complete this fight as early as possible, then be prepared for a tough fight ... the Pichus are annoying little creatures, with their little tail whips taking off a decent amount of damage, but then you have Neochu with his tentacle attack and his Screech.

Marlboros are definately the most annoying enemy in the game.Bad Breath is outrageous and ticks me off every time it is used

To me, it's any enemy that escapes when you're so close to defeating them. 'Nuff said about that.

If that doesn't count, I'd say the Blue Dragon in FFIV: The After Years. No matter how much you grind (my Golbez is currently at level 59), your whole party is only one Icestorm away from a Game Over.

Edit: Took on the Blue Dragon today, and Golbez and Kain were able to take one hit from the Icestorm. Gee whiz, this guy's stronger than most bosses in one go.

FFVII Demon Wall....most annoying boss ever and I hated it's stupid attacks and really high defence , it was easy to beat, but it would beat the crap out of my guys at the same time

Pennance! Pennance Pennance Pennance! Simply because it wasn't on my game! I read that the Dark Aions and Pennance wern't on all FFX versions but just them nub Omega Weapons and such. So I found all killed all the Dark Aions! (killed the Dark 3 Sisters after 60 hours game time clocked WITHOUT making them split up ) Killed the rest of them after 200 hours of clocked game time. THEN! THEN! PENNANCE WASN'T IN MY GAME!!! I WAS SOOOOO PEEEEVED!!! Why Dark Aions but no pennance >.>

Tomberry (Especially in FFIX, since they appear in group of 2-3) And Maloboros. Most annoying thing ever. the only time I've ever been able to defeat one in FFVIII is by sheer luck. >_>

No they did not. And it's pretty hard o get 100% resist on all statuses. unless there's a trick like putting Ultima on Elem-Def lol

probably those things that ask for items. Really anoyying. Unless its ff7 and ive used W-item to spam elixers, its okay. Because thats what you want when you are trying to master materia.
