Just wanted to know if I should or need to complete all Cieth missions before finishing the game? I think I'm going to anyway because I need to level up a bit more.

You don't need to - and you probably won't be able to complete all missions before finishing the game anyways. The last missions (60+) are pretty, PRETTY hard. You probably already know that after finishing the game you'll be able to do all the things you missed throughout the game. PLUS you'll be able to complete the Crystarium then.
So I'd recommend to first finish the game and then complete the missions.
If I remember correctly, I've done mission 1-30 before finishing the game. The rest was way too hard. ^^" (And I wanted to see the ending sooo~ badly! XD)

ThanksI like to explore as much as I can before I finish a game but I'll do what you said. Some of these missions are very difficult indeed!
OH MY GOD whatever you do, DO NOT play mission 62! Well, not unless you want an aneurysm of course.
I did all the missions up to and including the rank B missions. It does help you gain some vital CP (you'll need to level well for the last boss). So yeah, I'd recommend doing some.
Do not bother with rank A, they are way too hard. Wait until all your characters have at least 10000 HP and have mastered at least one of their primary roles.
I did like...3 Cie'th missions before beating the game...I was doing them for CP...but there is a much better grinding spot right before the last save point. One easy enemy who gives 32k CP per fight, fight takes around 2 minutes.
Don't waste your time on the Cie'th missions yet. Do them after you beat the game.
