Ok just as the title says, what music do you like to listen to, like for me i like all kinds, but not Death Metal, of course i can not sleep without music, it helps me calm down, i even listen to J-Rock, anyways post what music do you like to listen to, and if you want to add me details than that is ok, i do not mind a little details about when you listen to music and/or where, i mostly listen to mine at home or during the ride to my school, but other than school, i listen to music at home, and i really get into the music to where i lose myself in the beats and the lyrics

Three days Grace (hurah, good songs)

Rammstien (German metal, and I know i spelled it wrong)

TECHNO (And lots of it)

Disco( "Do the hustle" )

Anime and Video game songs( Many FF songs but recently I have been listening and watching the Afro Samurai songs and videos...its awsome)

GORILLAZ(Was not sure what catagory, they are alittle bit hip hop but not all... Favorite BAND EVER!!!!!!!!

You dont say. I had no idea that ICP was a chirstan band.

The only songs Ive herd are My Axe and Hommies though.
As for disturbed, I really dont listen to them much but the one song they did that I really liked was called the Darkness. It is really not their type of style of music beacuse its slow and quiet but I really liked the song and the lyrics in it are so sad.....in a good kinda way. I digres.

im listening to It's Not Over by Daughtry, and as a matter of fact i am also thinking of making a band no doubt about that

I listen to anything. Literally.

My favourites at the moment are The Misfits, Dir En Grey, Tool, Mucc, Van Halen, Lady Gaga, Muse, Judas Priest and Hadouken!. So yeah.

I used to have this one track mind when it came to music, where the only stuff I would listen to is Rock, Metal and anything inbetween. But now I can listen to anything.

I listen to everything, quite literally. I dwell in all forms of music, my iPod goes from metal to jazz to hip hop. I usually stay listening to metal more than anything though. I can stand some death metal, but only if i feel the musicians are good. like Bleeding Through, they're kinda death metal, but I like them. I don't like the stuff they call death metal now. Sounds like someone gave a pig or a dog a microphone...

I agree with you there Chaos, though every time i hear Death Metal, i just want to blow something up just to get rid of the Death Metal, that's why i never listen to it, i can stand Hip Hop, even rap, i like to listen to Can't Touch This by MC Hammer, that song can bring me to a dancing phase of myself, though i can't really dance, but still

And another thing about music in general, a lot of times, especially with rock and hip-hop, the bands/ artists tend to sound the same. And I don't want to hear the same thing over again. Which is why I'm happy bands like Dir en Grey exist. I don't think ANYONE will ever sound like them, just too strange

Dir En Grey are the single greatest band ever! I saw them live in January and they were even better live. 'Obscure' sounds so creepy live, it's awesome!

I'm always listening to J-Music because it's different to everything else. Mucc, like Dir En Grey, doesn't sound like anything else, same with a lot of bands.

I can come up with a lot of good bands that are like that e.g Bullet for my Valentine, My Chemical Romance(Definitely MCR. No one sounds like them at all no matter wtf you say.), Alesana etc.

Let's just say I hate pop, rap, country, and everything with fake drumming(e.g synthesizer). And I hate marching bands. I do like Piano solos, and Violin solos occasionally when I'm feeling sad or w.e. I loveee Emo/Screamo/HeavyMetal/SpeedMetal/Grunge/80's HardRock/HardRock. I love My Chemical Romance and Panic! at the Disco <----Before they became super popular, when they just started I thought their songs were better. I also listen to Micheal Jackson; and I can admit it I'm listening to Backstreet Boys right now xD I like some of their songs and I like Bye Bye Bye by Nsync....But yah....I listen to all types of music =]

I'm a bit of an odd one when it comes to music. Generally speaking I'll listen to anything. And pretty much like anything... I can happily hum along to the radio and do my thing.

However... I mainly like instrumental music. Classical - I love classical. A good movie soundtrack can be beautiful too. Like Pearl Harbour, Gladiator, Titanic etc... each has some very beautiful tracks. Calming... and for me inspirational. But my all time favourites are the great classics. Moonlight Sonata etc... <3
Classical is the way to go hehe.

I like music that's original basically...
Guitar music mainly.

Most of my CD/LPs are guitar related, though I have the Justice album and the Goose album, which is both electro.
I don't dislike music really quickly, except for all the same rythm stuff you see on the tele, but then again, if you want to find good music, you shouldn't look for it on the tele.

The list of musicians/bands I like is really long, but the 3 bands a friend of mine identifies me with are:

Gee, I wonder who I like? Possibly the band in my signature. They are easily my favorite right now, I love Queen. They have tons of songs I like very much. Freddie has the most beautiful voice in music. They're all quite amazing.

I also like mostly 60's, 70's and 80's. I'm into a lot of classic rock, pop and all sorts really. My tastes vary. I'm into some 90's music, I grew up listening to it so I have to like some of it. Someone said they like the Backstreet Boys, I grew up listening to them haha, I loved them back when I was like 10. I still listen to them, I'm not ashamed to say that. I do like a fair few of their songs.

My top five bands though would be:

1. Queen
2. Guns n' Roses
3. H.I.M
4. Bon Jovi
5. Aerosmith

I like a lot of stuff but not country music. The only country artists I can stand are Ray Stevens, LOL, his songs are funny and John Williamson, good Aussie singer.
