Capable of preventing magic backfires.
(No Thundara-ing myself, hopefully)

IC:
Drops of rain fell from the sky, breaking the otherwise silent plains. In the midst of all the nothingness, one man stood alone. Rai, the rumored Thunder Swordsman. He wandered the plains, not noticing that the rain was the first water exposure in months. It was more of a temperate desert than plains.
"Why do I even bother? Nobody can survive more than a few hits from me. They are all weak, unintelligent commoners. I need someone who can take a hit. Someone who can actually threaten me. OR AT LEAST SOMEONE WHO KNOWS MAGIC!!!"
Rai yelled to the sky.
"Its no use. I have waited long...for absolutely nothing. Will nobody surpass me?"
Rai whipered, wistfully.
