Or maybe I should say Viral's grad project. Regardless, I'm making a graduation project for my senior year, and I'm studying a phenomenon called Music Homogenization. This post will be edited later to be more detailed of my current knowledge since I'm pressed for time, but for right now, I'd like to see if you all have any knowledge on homogenization, any interesting data, opinions, etc.
Also, if anyone knows how to use VOCALOID 2 then that'd be handy as well, but I think I'll make that into a seperate thread. Either way, thanks for the reads and replies.

So, if anyone has any music writing knowledge to share, I'd love to hear it. All I know to make a homogenized pop song is this
4/4 time, 120bpm, catch-verse-chorus-verse-chorus-fade, low chord variation, high volume, limited timbre selection.
