I thought I'd post this here because not many people in my real life would appreciate this.
For our anniversary, my OH got us tickets to go see the Final Fantasy Symphony when it comes to Toronto later in the year. But, for mother's day, he paid a bit extra and now we get to go to the Meet and Greet with Nobuo Uematsu afterwards!
I am SO FREAKING EXCITED!!!! Best Mother's Day gift ever!!!
That's awesome. I always wanted to go see one of his concerts, I love his music. You should take pics, though! Shake his hand! And steal a piece of his hair for a souvenir.

It was pretty sweet when they came to LA. They were able to get the singers for the theme songs from FFIX and FFX as well as the various members of the Black Mages. Was money well spent. But wow it's been a long time since then.

So have they announced an official set list for this event yet? Or do you think it will be a bit more on the random side?
Me personally I would hope it would be the second option. That would be awesome not knowing what is coming next but knowing and loving what is being herad as it is being played.
Congrats for getting to go. You OH seems pretty rad that he would go to the extents that he did to get you something that he knew you would love and then topping it with a M&G heh.

Not sure if that's a Northern Ontario thing either. But yeah, Franglais all the way up there.
Fringlish, Franglais, whatever you want to call it is hilarious, even better though is the french quebequers speaking english... Its just hilarious. Once late at night these teens older than myself came up to my brother and I and asked "Do you have any herb?" well thats what they tried to say. What it sounded like was more like "err, do yoo ave any erb?"
