Our freedom has been challenged...
What freedom you ask? The freedom of net neutrality. Recently, I'm sure some of you have heard of that CEO guy from Virgin saying "Net neutrality is a load of bollocks" and being very direct that he wants to throttle everybody's bandwith unless they pay more. Furthermore, he also wants sites to pay more too. First of all, throttling is illegal. Second, this IS a serious issue for everybody. If Virgin actually pulls this off and other ISP's follow suit, you may not even see or be able to get on TFF or just about any site you go to that aren't within the big corporations. As the internet is truly a place of democracy, we should keep it this way by fighting back and protesting this action, showing them what happens when you try to dictate what we can and cannot get by slapping a price on everything.
If you want to know more, my sig links to a site that explains all of this a bit better. Get the word out about what's happening.
