Second Annual Quistis Ball

Hey all! I'm back this year for the Second Annual Quistis Ball. For those that remember it last year, we'll be having the fun again this year. For those that don't remember it or weren't here last year I'll explain. The Quistis Ball is in honor of a very important member of TFF that a lot of people call her friend. She's done a lot for TFF during her time and so for all of her unsung work I named it in her honor. What the Quistis Ball is pretty simple. It's a casual Roleplaying event where people select dates or go stag to a formal ball. It is a fun way to relax, enjoy some time with people in a light setting and getting a little experience on what it is like to roleplay. You are allowed to do and have as much fun as you so long as it does not ruin the experience for everyone else.

This year though will be special! I've spoken with Oceaneyes and the staff and they've agreed that we will hold an awards show during the ball as well. So during the ending of the ball we will announce the winners of the TFF 2009 Awards and allow you all a little time to embarrass yourself with a speech. It's not required that you're present to earn your award naturally, but you are invited to enjoy and have some fun.

And like last year it will be sponsored by me and the two Andromedas. ^^

You may use this thread, PM or VMs, however you wish to get your dates together for the ball. I will be making the opening post for the ball a little after the start of the voting rounds of the Awards. So you have plenty of time to find someone to go with.

If you have any questions please ask a way. Remember you don't need to have experience in RPing to attend. It is open to everyone to have fun. The rules will hardly be enforced, as long as you don't use asterisks to RP you'll be golden. ^^ Its a Social RP. Yay! ^^

Ok I will jump out there and be the first to say that I will be attending. Got a baby sitter all lined out and I am rearing to go.

As for a "date" I will either do what I did last year and go in a group setting or I will go stag and just pimp myself out to the highest bidder. Any which way it goes there is fun to be had. I will come back and post some more when I have decided which way I am going to go. My "date" from last year no longer posts here anymore so it might be difficult to find someone.

It will be interesting to see what kind of fun is in store for this year and it would be nice to get more expiriance RPing before I really try my hand at it. Also be aware of typo city hahahahaa.

I'm "going." Haha. I'm not really a long post RP poster (what?), but I'll have a few additions to the thread. I do not have a date. I'm not too worried about it, but I am not opposed to it either. Just like high school.

It'll be fun. I'm not sure what we'll do about the Bogus awards in the meantime, but we'll figure it out.

I'll be the guy who turns up late, doesn't stay long, and generally would rather be somewhere else, but still deep down enjoys it.

That's if I turn up at all, but I'll try.

Good to see this thread is sparking more attention now. Now the real question is will Quistis make an appearance heh. Only time will tell.

Me and Telegraph are hitting this shindig together. I'm not sure what role I'll be, prolly evil.

I'm not the greatest at RPing, but I will definitely try and make an appearance. I'm planning on going solo unless someone wants to go with me. Either way, it doesn't matter to me.

I'll be attending this little event. I'll probably have at it solo and make sure nothing goes wrong and nobody who shouldn't be there gets in. Yep, just call me Keys the Security Guard. I'll be in my Casino Royale suit and I'll be happy to leave my guard post for an invitation to dance....

I have my date for the event, and I must say, I can't wait. <3

I don't know what my role will be as of yet. If I remember, last year I was the dippy/clumsy one. I doubt I will be this year... I'm thinking a lot more grown up. Maybe a little clumsiness for a giggle, but I kinda like the sound of an evil, seductive role. ;)

Hey everyone! The Ball has begun! So you are all welcome to start posting. Enjoy yourself and play around. Don't worry too much about how to roleplay or if you're doing it right. Just have fun and enjoy yourself. Just be sure that what you do doesn't ruin it for everyone else, that's the only rule. In about a week or two depending on when Ocean gets the results and people are ready. I'll make the post in the Ball announcing the Award Show to begin.

Update time! I am currently working with some people trying to finalize some details. Hopefully sometime tonight or tomorrow I will be able to finish typing up my first post and get it posted.

Going to be a little difficult seeing I am not super familar with RPing and I am doing this in conjunction with 2 other people haha. Should make for some fun.

I wouldn't worry too much about ability to RP or not. As I said this is all very light stuff, it is a casual/social RP. And since I'm encouraging everyone and anyone to join in the normal RP rules do not apply, minus the asterisks of course. ^^ It is about having fun, not being worried about procedure and order.

So just be yourself.
