Some of that technology in those games I listed (FF, FFII, & FFV) was from an ancient civilization, but some of that was created pretty close to when the game happened or during the game. Like the Dreadnought & airship in FFII. The Fire Ship & Crystal Amplification machines in FFV. Plus Cid later works on the airship to transform into a seafaring ship and sub.

Really though if there was technology in the game then it was there. Having it created XXXX amount of years ago doesn't change the fact it is present in the game. The amount of technology makes it more or less high fantasy, which those games did not have a lot.

What does being a NE War have to do with that. The lightsaber swords. If you got lucky and got the sword right before a server crash back in the old old days. When the server comes back up you are rolled back. You have the weapon but the quest isn't completed yet. You turn it in again and you have two of them.

The thing with Vaan and Pinelo is who they represent in the story. They represent the people who get effected by the conflicts of War. Yes they weren't that great but they were put in near the end of the game when they didn't want Basch being the main character. As characters those 2 lack stuff, but it's more towards who they represent.

Please don't let the actions of a few change your opinion of this place as a whole. There are alot of friendly people around here, even some of the ones your are questioning are good people. Just have to get to know them first.

I see you are 25, that was about how old I was when I joined here a few years back. Had one kid and a wife. Still got the wife but cloned another mini-me some where along the lines haha. How about you?
