Last.fm is free for the main idea of it, like the statistics and getting all the band information you could possibly ever shake a stick at, as well as songs, band pictures, and videos. Not to mention groups, other people who just pop by and might comment on your taste and recommend you stuff and so on...

They charge a small fee for the use of their radio service. If you go to my page you'll see that under my dp it says 'subscriber'. That means I pay moneys for the radio. It's totally worth it imo. So much new music; stuff you'd never find independently. That's how I found this, and then I found the album (Intuit) at a music store for $5. It's amazing, but I wouldn't have known of it any other way.

You get a free trial of that for a month when you sign up though, and there's no obligation to subscribe to it. And even if you do, you can just do it for a month ($1.00), as you need/want it.

But yeah, otherwise completely free. Do iiiiitttt.

EDIT: Oh an another thing; it makes gig recommendations too -- for bands you've listened to and like, and ones it thinks you'll like. That's actually how I heard about Die! Die! Die! coming back to my city in July.

Newest album of Metric? Is that Fantasies? I actually think that's a really good album. A really big improvement on their 2005 album Live It Out at any rate.

And you should definently get a Last.fm. If anything, the statistics are fascinating. But more importantly, there's a cool radio feature (free trial for a month, and then like USD$1 per month after that). You start off by giving the name of an artist or a 'tag' (like, 'female vocalist', or a genre), and then it has a look at what's already in your library (i.e. what you're already familar with, within the term you've specified) -- and then avoids it, feeding you artists you haven't heard of, but are similar to things you like. It's a fantastic way to hear 'new' artists. I swear by it.

Heh, I don't have to kick it anymore. ^^ It may not be working when I try to start it, but my father claims (!) to have repaired it. He already told me I could go on and destroy it again if I want to. XD But that was obviously a joke. I don't quite get why he repaired it anyways, as they told me they wanted to buy a new one... Oo" Oh well.

Well, actually, I DO see him more often than he sees his friends. That's mostly due to the distance. He has to drive about 13 minutes to come to my place. He needs about 33 minutes to drive to his friends. ^^" Also, we always stay overnight at the other one's place. So it's no problem to meet more than once a week. ^^ BUT on the weekend he ALWAYS meets his friends. PLUS he plays onlinegames with them TWO times a week. So he sees them about 3/7 of the week. And he sees me 4/7 of the week. So that shouldn't be a problem at all. But for his stupid friends it is.
I thought it through a lot of times, these problems keep coming and going for almost three weeks now... It's just that I couldn't stand this pain every day, every week... That's what I told my boyfriend. That's how I feel. I do NOT want to hurt myself psychically every single day. :/

Plus, I want him to be the father of my future kids. I feel stupid saying all this... but I'm pretty sure about loving him. .,. Well, I only tried for half an hour, then I tried calling my mother. And THEN I gave up. XD Best thing is: My mother wasn't mad at me. She said they wanted to buy a lawnmower soon anyways. ^^" So it was absolutely NO problem. ^^
Well, at first it was quite nice being at my boyfriend's place (his family's sooo~ great <3) but then his friends came to visit him all of a sudden. << And they wanted to force him to play onlinegames with them, instead of spending time with me. -_- Thas sucked. But finally my boyfriend realized that his friends may not like me that much... He at least wants to talk to them about yesterday today. I hope he really does! >_< And I hope it won't turn out like the last time he spoke to them about those problems. <<" Last time he told me he'd spent too much time with me. -_-" But I'll see.
This might sound strange to you (as well as to many others I've told about this plan), but I plan on breaking up with my boyfriend if things don't get better. I just can't take it anymore. I just tried to greet all of his friends yesterday - they IGNORED me! And that just f-ing hurts everytime... That's why I'll probably tell my boyfriend sooner or later that he has to decide if he wants to keep his friend... or me.

Recently, I haven't been listening to much beyond what I usually listen to. Though I did get Straight Outta Compton today. But that is so out of character it's not even funny.

Other than that, recent additions have been stuff by Plumtree. I bought their only (...I think) album on iTunes, and went to their website for free music (always a good tactic). You probably know the song 'Scott Pilgrim' from... well, that's obvious. But they've got some other really good songs.

Oh man, I really like Architecture in Helsinki. Have you seen this? I can't remember if I first saw it here or on Facebook.

It might be interesting for you to hear that I, in the end, DIDN'T mow the lawn. Which is mostly due to the fact that the lawnmower wasn't working. XD I tried to call my mom two times throughout the day so far, but I suppose she didn't hear it.
So maybe I'll mow the lawn tomorrow. Maybe not. Maybe my parents won't be able to make it work again... (I remember it hasn't been working a week ago, either. So I hope I didn't destroy anything. >.<")
