I totally get where you're coming from man. I've been good. Literally just quit my current job yesterday and will be going to another place to do the same thing for more money. Still not the dream job, but I'm holding out for that. How's everything on your end, minus hating people?

I still don't know if I passed the state exam (I'll know in July...), but at least I've survived all the exams. =D

You're okay. I'm not. I must admit: I thought about replying to your PM after I received it, but I never found time to do so. I forgot about it, to be honest. And then stress hit me and now I'm happy just to be on TFF every now and then to at least fulfill my duties as a mod.
I'm currently into learning for my state exam (for the second time, which is why I'm more stressed than before... :/ ), so there's not much time left. I hope this is okay for you - I know I should be a better friend, but right now, I'm neglecting all my friends (plus boyfriend). I only have one chance left to pass the state exam, that just drives me crazy and leaves no room in my head for anything else. :/

I think it's probably equivalent to the 4th rank if your 5th rank is the first NCO one. We have less ranks I think, our first NCO is Corporal (4th rank)

I have four forums that I moderate. One of them hasn't had activity in two months. It is never as popular as the other three I moderate because A) most people come here to discuss Final Fantasy (go figure) and B) people tend to get all Serious Business in there (I've cracked down on people being dicks in there... it's the only forum I've given people warnings in, and I've given several... I still maintain a sub-forum-wide ban for people with multiple active warnings from there).

What do you want me to do? Force people to post/necropost? I can start new threads myself, but I'm all out of ideas and it won't guarantee that people will respond to them. I could come up with those ideas that I lack that but I'm trying to get started on my Master's thesis. Sorry, but that's serious IRL that I'm focussing on. If the situation concerns you, start threads there instead of writing passive-aggressive VMs. I'll be sure to moderate them responsibly for you. That's my role.

Basic wasn't too bad for me, everyone thought I'd struggle being so quiet but the instructors didn't even know my name by the end of the course so my plan of not getting noticed worked a treat haha. Yeah I hate getting lectured for other people's mistakes but it works for most people since they're less likely to screw up if they get everyone in the shit!

Think our ranks work a bit different, I'm going for Corporal at the moment. Currently a Senior Tech though so can't complain!

Sounds pretty similar to my experience haha, joined when I was 25 ish so was going through my basic training with a bunch of 18-20 year olds! Yeah it's always easier on the newer generations, I'm noticing it already and I've only done 5 years haha.
