.410s are nice little shotguns, and Mossberg is a good company. The youth model would be the 505, I think. You should have fun with it. I don't know if you would ever get into hunting, but while it's illegal for deer and larger game, the .410 is a good size for small game and such. You know, if you'd get a kick out of shooting furry little woodland creatures. Either way, it's a fun little gun.
Oh, you're fine. Thank you. It's a Mossberg 500 .410 pump action. Also, she got the youth size because I'm so small lolol. I'm taking it out this weekend to see how it shoots.
Hahahahah, that's awesome. I do. What kind? And while I apologize for not noticing yet, I hope it's not too late to say happy birthday.
My mom got me a shotgun for my birthday. I thought you'd appreciate that.
It's good to practice and get comfortable with them first -- you can also find out what you like best, and what may be too much to handle. Plus, a lot of people have favorite brands, etc. I bought another four handguns, including one especially for concealing (H&K .45 Compact), plus a few rifles, so I'm looking forward to getting back and shooting a bit. The bad thing is, I got them all off a gun penny-auction site, and when I first signed up, I planned on getting two guns. Two -- one AUG, one compact to carry. Now is one month and eight firearms (plus two optics) later, and I'm looking for a safe to put them in when I get home.
Haha awesome. I'm still deciding on my first firearm. My mother has a few handguns and I've been using those to practice shooting... but I've got my concealed carry, and while I don't know how often I'd actually want to carry on my body, I do feel like I should have the option. Wisconsin, eh? Well when the country goes crazy and the government collapses, I'll know where to head to.
I got another few firearms. So when are you coming up to Wisconsin to check out the arsenal?
Well if he responds again, by all means, debate him all you want. As long as no rules are broken, it's all good. And hey, you'll have plenty of material. Good lord.
"Rassle", eh? Sure, we could call it that.
Strong women, eh? Wanna rassle?
Prettymuch every meal I've had since I've gotten home has been great. I've gone with sushi and Chinese a couple times, homemade chicken alfredo a giant greasy burger, steak, omlette with hashbrowns and pancakes ... right now I'm just waiting another half hour or so until the place down the street opens and I can go get one of their three-pound chef salads with turkey, chicken, ham, and shredded beef. Of course, there was the lasagna on Saturday that I think just might have given me food poisoning ... but I'm just about back to normal now. And now I might have to go for steak again tonight, too. Dammit.
Hahaha that sounds amazing. 20oz, though? Goddamn. I'll keep my 8oz filet and 25" waist thank yoouuuu (see how I worked that in? yep). Tonight, I, too, will be having steak. haha I'll think of you.
I finally got to Texas Roadhouse the other night, which was awesome. Twenty-ounce sirloin, medium rare, smothered with mushrooms and onions, with a salad and a big bowl of loaded mashed potatos on the side. It was the best meal I've had in about six months, at least. Then I waddled out of there and went to the bar, where I bought one drink the entire night and the rest bought for me by anybody and everybody else there. Good times. Yeah, I suppose we agree on enough to be TFF friends, at least -- see? I told you I grow on you . Really, so far there's just steak, beer, and sex ... but what else do you need?
Do it! How do you feel steak should be cooked? I'm a medium rare kind of girl. Well-done is a waste of steak. That bar IS awesome. I think we might agree on enough to be TFF friends now. Agree?
I might have to post some pictures of myself and my boomstick once I get back. I'm on leave right now, back in the 'States. Day one was getting my duffel bag that got lost somehow in Chicago, sushi, and drinking. Day two is eating more (still trying to decide between a big greasy burger and an omlette with real eggs for lunch, and it'll be steak for dinner), then drinking. The bar I frequent actually ordered more Guinness just for me coming back -- I'm just about the only one that drinks it there. They actually started stocking it just for me. Yes, that bar is just that awesome.
