Well, a person could say that Tidus still existed in a different form, but that is all technicallities/semantics.
Not to be beating you up, but for future use (if you ever call upon it), Tidus was a dream of the Fayth. Jecht was also a dream of the Fayth. Once Yu Yevon was defeated in Final Fantasy X, the Fayth could finally stop dreaming and rest peacefully, thus did Tidus fade away along with Dream Zanarkand. Depending on the ending the player got in Final Fantasy X-2, the Fayth reward Yuna for saving the world - again - for granting her wish that Tidus return. Dreaming of one person shouldn't be too hard for the Fayth. I don't think they [the Fayth] made Tidus actually real, they just dreamt him up again. I'm not too sure about the existential nature of Tidus after Final Fantasy X-2.
