Utopian database? Naaaaa. The idea is an impossibility. You're talking about a society where everything works perfectly always, everybody has everything they need, and ostensibly there are no challenges to this structure. Can't be done. If you want a real debate, I've actually got one. We are in a time now where Capitalism is being challenged, but the alernative to that is Socialsim, which we have already seen in many countries both past and modern, does not create a stable environment of economic strength. But if we truly think that Capitalism eventually creates inequality, then we would then have to conclude that no system works. So what do we do? Continue capitalist societies that eventually suffocate themselves, or re-engage in socialism which produces a large underclass incapable of attaining higher social status?
Yea, like I'm no extremist, and I don't have one sided political views. I just like to see discussions instead of people getting hot under the collar and intimidated. Are there any online databases that discuss the idea of a Utopia? I would find it interesting.
I totally agree Sean. And thank you. Libs are just funny away because they always think they're so smart and apparently think a Utopia can be reality, but it's really funny watching them react to facing their own failures,,, which of course we all saw coming. But nope. They can't accept it. And they won't even open up to discuss practical solutions after that. They gotta close down discussions and reconvince themselves that they weren't that naive in the first place.
You know, this place is full of closed minded bigoted eejits. It annoys me when people close threads such as yours because they couldn't be bothered discussing something they don't agree with. It's only the internet, not a house of parliament. I don't see why people take it so seriously.
