It's getting chilly in here! Brrrrr~

Maybe. Been a while since I played the whole storyline, to be honest. Started up a new game a few weeks back, and I'm at the part where you guide Hope and Light through some kind of mechanical forest type of place, and I'm like "okay, I'm bored of this." ^^;

You weren't into Barbie dolls at all? I didn't like baby dolls. Those creeped me out, but I loved playing barbies. :3

I work out sporadically. When I first got my Wii Fit, I was working every day for like two months, but then I guess I got bored with it. Need more variety! I could pick up Wii Fit Plus, which would add more workout type of things, and also comes with the Wii Motion Plus controller. Double score~ ^^ Yeah, I have very little upper body strength, but I'm working to improve. Maybe won't ever really bench a great deal, but I do want to at least look toned there.

I'm sure it will be just fine. ^^ I like reading reviews about things. I rummage through TV Tropes just to see what people have to say about anything and everything. I dunno why i have such a need to hear people's opinions about things.. Maybe because I'm so neutral about many things myself. ^^;

Ah, that's good to hear that it wasn't just the game mechanics screwing you over. Have you done any crazy stuff in the game? I'm sure you have. That seems to be the main point of it. What does your character look like? ^^

Only thing I really thought was strange about Fang was how single-minded she was. Her whole M.O. pretty much was "I'm gonna protect Vanille!", which is all well and good, but she could have used a bit more roundness. HA! Loved the shots of the monsters and their new accessories. :3 That bow tie is quite classy.

Freedom, customization, and playing dress-up is the appeal to me. x3 Maybe it's just a more in-depth way for me to play with dolls again. xD

I suppose most everyone has do deal with self-esteem issues in their life. I am starting to feel better about myself, ever since I started working out more. My routine so far is 3 sets of 10 crunches, 2 sets of 10 leg lifts, and do as many pushups as I can (my record so far is...5 xD), that is along with a few random yoga moves. Maybe pumping those endorphins will help. ^^ Still haven't gotten a hold of a hula hoop, but when I get one, I'm adding hoop dancing to the mix.

Yeah, I grew up Christian, but it was never really shoved down my throat in my early years. For some reason when I was in Junior High, my parents really pushed the whole religion thing on us. After a while, I just was like "I'm not going". They were kind of peeved, but I didn't have to go anymore, so yay~ They don't attend church now either. Yeah, I'm in the central time zone. Never really had a problem with it until I started talking to peeps from different parts of the world. Ah well. I deal with it just fine, I suppose.

Yeah, that could be it. I ended up liking Fang a lot more than Light, even though they had similar archetypes going for 'em. Maybe it just worked better for her. ^^

Nah, you didn't come off as rude at all. I really just don't have many examples where I've played games that let me have total freedom over stuffs. Sims is about my only example in that regard. xD

D'awww, thanks for the pep talk. ^^ Yeah, I do have issues with how I look, as silly as it is to get hung up on something like that... I agree that a bombin' personality can make a huuuge difference, but in my experience, getting the chance to really show that aspect off is rather difficult. Meh... Just something I should work on, I suppose.

Haha, yeah. He also sleeps during classtime, and church too. I don't blame him much on the latter. Church is boooooring. I hated having to go. >< It's hard having friends in different time zones, period (to me, anyway). Peeps on the east coast turn in too early, and peeps on the west coast stay up waaaay too late, which possibly give you an idea of what time I'm usually online to chat. Gah... I told myself to not stay up late anymore too. ><

Yeah, I saw that one, but it was in Japanese. Heh, it's even more cheesy in English though...especially from Mr. Purple (dunno his name...the antagonist guy, I guess). Gawd... SE is really trying hard to make Lightning some kind of memetic badass. I'm all for tough action girls or whatever, but for some reason I'm not really warming up to Lightning.

Ugh... Yeah. I get them occasionally. My latest troubled dream involved finally getting a chance to meet a guy I've been crushing on, only to find out that he's dating someone else, and from what he was going on about, she seemed like she was drop-dead gorgeous. Gah... Curse my feelings of inadequacy!

Never heard of that one before. Must really be a new release, or I'm just totally out of the loop...or maybe even a combination of the two. xD Meh. I think 3D is just a gimmick to get people to shell out more cash. I think I mentioned that before...somewhere. I dunno if I would cry in a movie about people in fighting tournaments, but you never know, I guess. ^^

Fate keeps a weird-ass schedule...which is perfect because I do too, so we get to chat it up occasionally. I watched some footage of the character creator in Saints Row 3. Looks really in-depth and AWESOME. I hope you enjoy your game. Seems like it'd be a fun one to just run amok in. Sorry to hear you had a crappy night though. :/ Hope the game makes it somewhat better for you. ^^ If I'm too stressed about something, I don't usually do much of anything except listen to music. I'm afraid if I try to play a game while I'm frustrated, I'd wind up just damaging something irl if something happens in the game that angers me. ^^; Thrown controllers = not fun times.

Yeah, I checked out the thread a while back. Those pics did seem pretty sweet, I must say, but you're right again. I dunno if that's going to be enough for me to justify the purchase at full price...especially when it didn't take long at all for XIII reg to get substantially marked down in price. Yeah, the story in Versus is giving me a "Romeo and Juliet" vibe with that Noctic dude and Stella chick, but hopefully the gameplay and open-world aspect will make up for it. ^^ So you can name the monsters now, eh? Haha, I hope some people come up with some hella funny ones so I can laugh about it. xD

Well, I've only played Sims 3, so I can't really compare, but I would think it would have had to have improved from the previous games. YMMV on that, of course. ^^

Well, I only watched the trailer once, but I really liked the Phoenix Wright and Deadpool one. It made me lol. Magneto at the end looked pretty boss too. ^^

Haha, nice. Good on 'em for letting you have whatever time you need to write up a review. I figured most places would wanna be first with something like that, so they put the pressure on the reviewer to both complete the game and also write something up. Seems to me like that situation would cause a person to not really enjoy the game they're playing as much.

The music in the beginning of the trailer sort of reminds me of Inception. BWAAAAAAAAA!!!! x3 Pretty sweet stillframes though. If I was a 3-d animator, I'd totally do stuff like that all the time, because it is awesome!

Perhaps Rap seemed to be the most rational evolution from all the pop music that's been shoved into the games from before? Me no-know... Me just trying to make sense of it all. :/

Yeah, I have sympathy for the people that try to do honest work and get hit with backlash from rabid fans. I'm sure that reviewers are made of stronger stuff than I am, so maybe they're not as affected by it than I would be.

Which Persona 4 character do you really wanna play as? I'm sure they'd all be fun in their own way, but me likey Yosuke and Chie the best, so I'd make it a priority to play them first. ^^ Oh wow. Seems like quite a few games are getting musicals now, eh? I kind of wanna see the Phoenix Wright one I heard about not too long ago. I think they're also making a movie about it too? I'm not sure. Been a while since I rummaged around in gaming news sites. And thankies~! I hope to get hit with inspiration soon too. ^^

Burning to death seemed to be the easiest/fastest way to kill a sim... Starving takes daaays to do, drowning takes forever and my sims had a nasty habit of just climbing out of the pool (even when I removed ladders), electrocution takes a lot of set up to do, and they usually don't die within the first few shocks. I forget the other ways to kill 'em, but yeah, burning seemed easiest. Just set some rugs next to a fire place, and put walls up around the sim. Roasty toasty! I needed a dead Turk sim for my Shinra Manor build that I did, so that's why one had to die.

Yeah, I wonder that too, though I think there are a lot of games that have stealth incorporated at certain times, right? Assassin's Creed series, Arkham Asylum/City, Splinter Cell, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Sly Cooper Series (kind of, I guess)...many more I can't think of atm, possibly. Ah yeah.. I didn't think of needed the original version to play with others online who don't get Ultimate. ^^; I had to look up the "steel-book case" that you mentioned. It is pretty nice~!

FREE GAME!!! 8D And from the sounds of it, one that's not too shabby either. ^^ This is an instance where it's actually good that your higher-ups be absent-minded. I've played Tekken before. Just in an arcade though, never a home copy. Will you have to do a review since they sent you a review copy? How long do you usually get before you have to turn something in?

That music doesn't really do much in the way of getting me pumped up in battle. Not really diggin' the whole rap stuff or whatever. :/ The theme in XIII reg. was pretty sweet though. Maybe I'll blast that on my iPod whenever I'm in battle instead.

I guess so. I should really learn how to cook anyway. Maybe pie crusts will be a nice stepping stone...or something.

Ah... So that must have been the inspiration for the video. I watched the entire playthrough, and while it was pretty amazing, there were a few glitches that happened. One of 'em was pretty gamebreaking too. When Drake was on a big luxury ship, the player went through a door to get to the lobby area, and the whole ship just suddenly glitched out and disappeared! XD An 8 out of 10 is still pretty high. People need to cool their jets over superfluous things. :/

Cheese pie is essentially cheesecake, right? I like that okay. A bit to rich sometimes though. I like eating the fruit filling from the top of it a lot. Thanksgiving is pretty much a big deal, yeah. My parents especially get really into it. They invite a TON of people over and we eat a lot of food.

I like mingames/sidequests that are FUN, not tedious and grindy, which is what a majority of FF X's stuff felt like to me. Yeah, the stuff in XIII looks like they might be a good time-waster, but I guess I'll know for sure once I get a copy (if I do...still debating that one....) I still have a couple of months to think it over. :3

Heh, my mom wants me to make pie crusts with her this week for Thanksgiving... I don't even like pie that much...but I'll do my best. ^^ Keep fingers crossed that I don't burn the house down. xD

Holy cow... The difficulty level was rated as "brutal"? I know you said it was hard...but seeing the actual rating makes it seem more...valid. Not that I didn't believe you, I just can't think of a better word to describe it. Yeah, I read up on the wiki about the items. They seemed like they would be mighty helpful, and yes, very fun too. I'd like to get the parachute thingie, and then jump off a high place and have Wander float down. I'd be all "WHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!" x3

Speaking of more games set to arrive, I saw reviews for Skyward Sword. They are looking very VERY good, saying things like "Best Zelda EVER", and giving perfect scores (IGN anyway...). Ugh... I thought I was done with my Wii, but then Nintendo had to go and drag me back in with Zelda goodness (supposedly). Are you much on Zelda games?

Well, you seem plenty smart to me, squidgy-brained or not. :3 Yeah, I'd be a merciful one too. "You attract more flies with honey", and all that. Even in games, I feel bad about going "rogue", even though it doesn't particularly effect anything of vast importance.

I haven't had a chance to talk to him since, but I hope his present arrived by now. Pretty sure it has, though he was complaining before about how the mail carriers in his area were pretty inept at their job. :/

Oh yeah? That's pretty cool then. I could have sworn that there was talk of some ports that wouldn't have trophy support. Maybe I was just imagining it... :/ Yeah, I sucked at blitzball, and dodging lightning bolts, and the chocobo races and the butterfly hunt... Practically any and all sidequests other than hunting monsters I was useless at. ^^; X-2 was just full of damn minigames. Maybe that's why XIII had very little to do other than hunt monsters and chocobo treasure hunt. They used up all their ideas in X-2. I fared slightly better in that game, but I wasn't a fan of sphere break either.

I loved watched all those super hero shows when I was little (and still do!). I liked X-men because of the huge cast of characters, so you'll always find someone that you like. ^^ I loved storm, gambit and rogue the best, I think. I'm sure there were some incidental characters that I thought were pretty cool, but it's been a while since I sat down to watch the animated series. Have you faced many people that had Storm on their team? Who are some of the more popular team-ups? I might have already said this to you, but I'm pretty sure there are a LOT of people who use Deadpool.

Anything with yummy-looking food is insta-win for me. :3 Now, if only I could actually make some of that stuff, I'd really be in business~

Yeah, I do have high metabolism, but that does slow down when you get older. Best to start limiting your junk intake now, so it won't be a problem when/if you really have to watch that stuff. Hoop dancing? That sounds pretty fun! Do you go to a class or anything, or is it just learn on your own type of thing? I might try that sometime. ^^

Oh yeah! I saw that sometime early yesterday...and I meant to mention it in my last VM, but it slipped my mind... ^^; It was really nice. I particularly liked your drawing of Jin (don't know his last name...). He had great eyes. The overall card was pretty spectacular, and Fatey was so happy when he got it. ^^ I didn't even have to pester him about showing it off either.

Well, I thought those sidequests/minigames were pretty challenging in X, so much so that I didn't even bother completing 'em. ^^; I wonder if the HD remake is going to have trophy support? If it does, they damn well better give some out for those minigames. ><

Lol, Nick Cage. I never seen him in that movie, but I watched a review. It seemed kind of cool. Awww... Poor Dante, indeed. He had a good run on your team though. ^^ Yeah, I think I'd try to run Ammy, Wright, and possibly Storm, because I'm a huuuuge fan of her, ever since I watched the animated series when I was a kid. I heard she was kind of powerful in the second game. Dunno how she plays in the third though.

I don't necessarily have to watch my weight, but I think it's best if I do. For one, I don't have to work out as much if I keep the junk food in moderation. I don't have a reason number two. Haha. I just don't like working out. ^^; Yoga is pretty alright though. What kind of exercise do you do, other than your bike?

Lame person's way? Or CRAFTY person's way? :3 It's all about perception, my dear. ^^ I'm actually kind of glad the Colossi in the PS3 version are more bloodthirsty. I got kind of sad when I slayed some of those giants in the PS2 version. They weren't really doing anything to be killed....and then asshole "hero" comes along and stabs them in the vitals.

I guess America as a whole is kind of wimpy about those harder play modes or something? ^^; Not a problem~ If you can plat FF XIII with all those tedious trophies, then methinks you'll have no problems with collecting stuff in MGS3, and good that you have so much experience with 2! That one will definitely be a breeze for ya. ^^

Ha, I know that feeling. I wasn't really all that interested in Skyrim at all until the release got closer. Must be all the hype that I read about it from people. Still probably not going to wind up buying it, but I'm definitely curious enough now to check out the first-look playthough with the VGA guys (and gal). This time though, I'm going to wait for the recorded stream to go up, instead of staying up at ungodly hours. xD So when you get Ultimate, do you think your main team will be changed up at all? I'm sure you're itching to give some new fighters a run, but are there any that you're super duper excited to get to play as?

Talk about food is making me kind of hungry, but I've had so much junk since Halloween.. I need to watch my girlish figure, you know. I've been drinking more water to kind of curb the hunger cravings, but that also means I've been having to hit the bathroom more.

Menstrual pain is one of the worst things...EVER. >< I haven't really found an end-all cure for the pain, but a little light exercise and laying in a warm tub of water seems to help me a little. If it gets too bad, I pop a few painkillers and take a nap. But I'm all about them naps anyway.
