Yeah... I get in modes where I'm like "Okay, time to put games away for a while...", but then later I get back into them again. Just how I work, I guess.

Not that you would sell 'em off anyway, eh? So were the figures you have a present from someone? Or did you buy 'em on a whim? I'm not too much into 'em myself, but when I saw those Seph figures, I was like "YES!!!!" and promptly picked them up. Dunno why I got a Kairi figure. She was the first one I got though. Think I wanted to try and use her as a figure model, but as it turns out, she's not that poseable. :/

Are we thinking of the same Deadly Premonition? I kid. Yeah, X-2 definitely had a mighty big cheese factor to it, but that battle system was pretty awesome. ^^

Sleep seems to be going well. I woke up a little after 8 this morning after getting in about 5 or so straight hours of sleep. Feel okay, just kind of cold this morning. Once I get up and get active that shouldn't be a problem. ^^

I haven't picked back up on XII in a while. Still in those damn Bhujerbhan mines. :/ You'd think since it was one of my faves that I would have more gumption to play it, but I'm sort of on hiatus with gaming. ^^;

Wow... That's an amazing collection. I knew you had a lot of games, but seeing an actual picture of 'em really drives the point home. I'm jelly~ You have some pretty hard to find games in there. :3 I like your figurines too. I have a few myself, but only 3: Two are of Sephiroth (one is his KH form and the other his Advent Children), and Kairi from Kingdom Hearts 2.

Well, the only game that comes to mind atm would be Deadly Premonition. I watched a bit of a playthrough of that one. It's completely ridiculous, but charming as well. Glitchy as hell though, however there's some hilarious things that can come about from that. xD What about you? ^^

Well, just use your best judgement on the matter. If you didn't think about what was bothering you while you were replying, perhaps you were just overthinking the situation? I've been guilty of that myself. I get pessimistic about stuff sometimes, and I let the negativity get the better of me.

It's okay. I should probably use my free time to learn/practice some kind of skill anyway instead of playing games (even though I lurve them). And yeah, I'll count your GotY, even if it wasn't released this year. MvC3 is a nice choice as well. ^^

Well, I think "cold" might be more of a perception thing... I'm sure that if someone who was more used to cooler weather were to live here, they might be wearing t-shirts around or something.

Well, it's nearly 5 p.m. here, and I haven't had a nap. Been up since 3:30 a.m. too, so maybe once bedtime rolls around, I'll get some proper sleeps. ^^

That's looking on the bright side~! If we can't love it for being great, we'll love it for being soooo bad. xDDD

Well, as for games that I personally played, I only got two new ones this year: Dissidia: Duodecim and FF IV Complete... So, out of those two, I'll have to say that Duodecim is my game of the year, mostly for the reason that I can play as Seph and he gets a bit of playable story this time around (but only a little.... ). I still need to finish FF IV... :/ Will I ever do the things I set out to do? However, if I can pick games that I've seen full playthroughs of (thanks to VGA), I'll have to say either Portal 2 or Batman: Arkham City. Hard choices... So, what about yourself? You have a much better selection to choose from, which is both a blessing and a curse. What's your GOTY?

Yeah, we do get insanely hot weather, but we also get some pretty cold winters. It's not that often though we get snow that sticks, but we'll see it at least a few days out of a year.

I...failed again, but not as hard as yesterday. I made it to 4 p.m. until I just needed to take a nap. Didn't sleep that long, so maybe I'll still be tired when it's time to go to bed. Feel okay right now though. And I can only promise to try and keep my schedule on track if it gets that way again... ^^;

Yeah, I'm of the belief if there's anything that you've held precious at all in your childhood/formative years, it's going to have that hold on you for the rest of your life...or at least it's gonna be hard as hell to let go of it.

Oh yay~ Early presents! If Uncharted 3 was the worst, then the others must be pretty damn good, because I loved every minute of the third. I agree that having other people around can make something even more enjoyable though. ^^ Sounds like you had fun.

With each new story/info/whatever else released, I get even more convinced that SE is just trolling it's fanbase now....at least the FF portion of it.

Yeah... I was trying to stay up all day, and then try to pass out at night at a decent hour (hoping that would help reset my internal clock...), but NOPE. I keep finding ways to sleep before I mean to, thus starting the vicious cycle aaaaaaallllllllll over again.

Well, he is the poster child for the Magnificent Bastard archetype...on tvtropes. Srsly, that guy has double crossed pretty much everyone he's ever "worked" for. He's an entertaining character though. :3

Yeah, I wish I had an adapter cable from my keyboard to my laptop though. If I had one, I could play along with the program rather than just watch. I can read simple melodies alright, but man....when piano music starts working with chords and other multi-note stuff...my attention just darts everywhere and I can't focus on what I'm supposed to be reading. ^^;

Have I told you that I downloaded Synthesia? It's a "game" (that's FREE, btw!) that helps you learn piano songs. You can learn anything you want, as long as you have a MIDI file. Pretty awesome stuff so far. It would probably be easier to learn if I could read piano sheet music better, but all that stuff looks like dots and scribbles to me. ^^;

Only a minute and a half in, and this is...sooo much different than what I'm used to seeing from a Metal Gear game. I guess Platinum Games decided to go a more...action based route? I do see bits of Bayonetta influence though, mostly with the crazy fast action moves.

Ah, the Cutie Mark Crusaders. I like them okay. They are a little too cute sometimes though, even for me. xD Ugh... I could not stand that Pip character (or whatever his name was) in the Halloween episode. He just seemed a little too sugary-sweet to me.

Yeah, maybe it has to do with the type of stuff that I read. I like reading about how things work, trivial facts and stuff like that, so when my brain is learning new and interesting info, it just yearns for more.

Is Raiden supposed to be the main focus? Lots of people (in the west at least) are none too thrilled about him..although his appearance in MGS4 was better received.

Gametrailers hates me. Those links almost never work properly for me. THat particular one has been "buffering" for like 5 minutes... :/ Platinum Games... They're the ones that did Bayonetta, right? They used to be Clover Studios too (Okami, Viewtiful Joe, Godhand...solid games, but rather underrated). Best of luck to 'em, though yeah, that name is rather corny. It's not just Revenge. It's not just Vengeance.... It's REVENGEANCE!!!!! That makes it twice as hardcore! Or something. xD

Wow, that convinced... I'm sorry to hear that. No one should ever be reckless with another person's feelings like that. Have you thought about bringing up these issues to her at all? I can't move out atm...and things aren't as bad now as it was when I was younger. I'm pretty much left to my own devices now. I just have to make appearances at dinner time and such (occasionally).

I've been working out since...maybe a week before thanksgiving? And only had two days off since. It's not a long long time, and my workout isn't too strenuous, but I'm glad I'm at least feeling some kind of result. I've been into music for practically my whole life, and played flute when I was in junior high. That helped me pick up piano pretty quickly, I think. ^^ I try to do that, get to bed at a decent hour, but I just lay there... Does no good.

I don't look all that different, but I feel a lot better. That's what I needed. :3 I also finally dragged my old keyboard out of the back of my closet, and played with that for a little while. Was surprised at just how quickly I picked back up some of the melodies I used to know. ^^ And yeah... I know I should... It really messes up my day when I don't sleep and night, and wind up finally getting some shut eye when the sun comes up...and then waking up in the afternoon.... These things take a lot more discipline than I can give, it seems...

Well, there's Ocelot, of course. Old Snake can count as well. Auron is up there, but he's not really that old. Just had a...hard life. EDIT: Ack! Forgot about Ra's Al Ghul in Arkham City. He's looking rather nice (for an older man) in that. ^^ But yeah, not too many older men in games that I can think of. Ah... I see. No problem, and glad to hear how much more open you are about your feelings. Some people stay closed off for far too long, and that's not healthy at all. Expressing yourself feels much, MUCH better, and really there's no harm in it at all. ^^ I had to learn that myself as well. Still learning, but am really MUCH better than when I was younger. :3

Oh man... My parents were really bad about looking through my things when I was younger. I guess all parents do that to make sure their kids aren't doing anything crazy, but it was still pretty...uh...can't think of the word. I felt like I had no sense of privacy, at any rate. Probably still carry traces of that into my adult life, but that's something I need to work on.

Yeah, this season is really good so far. I think the writers have more freedom to do what they want with the material, and they have really taken the people who watch the show into account as well, and not just the targeted audience. I did enjoy the songs from Season One a lot more though. "At the Gala" was fantastic.

Rise's Shadow was pretty much spot-on. She didn't hump the pole though (hence the *squish* in my last VM)

I'm doing okay. Still nothing much going on to talk about, other than keeping up with my exercise routine and NOT keeping my sleep schedule (like I said I was going to do 23435 times already...). Well, 1 out of 2 ain't bad, right? ^^;

Yeah, it's the type of game that's made on the cheap to give to kids as stocking stuffers at Christmas. My youngest cousin loves games like that though.
