I read through it a couple of times. Still gotta adapt your techniques in photoshop so I can use basically the same idea for GIMP, but that's just going to take practice on my part. You think your tip thread could double as sort of a help thread as well? I have a banner made, but I'm stuck about the font... Might be nice to get a couple of different opinions about what I could do. If you're curious, here's what I've been working on ever since you passed along those tips:

Hey, I like that a lot! I actually had a different idea of what you were talking about, so thanks for the image! Yeah, I like that logo that Evanescence uses, but I still am not that good at mixing and matching fonts.. Getting better with practice though.

Nah, you don't have to. I think I got the idea of what your saying. My problem is thinking of a good font combination to use, but since you said stick to a more simple font for the lowercase letters, that gives me an idea of what I can do.

Nice! That would come in handy for people who need some pointers on how to do different effects. People like me! I appreciated that you showed this to me. I should try some of these out and see if I can do this sort of thing with GIMP. You should start a thread about this. Call it "Fate's Fabulous Photoshop Tips" or something. And also, if you ever decide to take on "apprentices" or whatever, I would totally be on board to learn what you have to teach! Especially if you have some pointers about how to do different font effects. I really need practice in that department.

I still reeeaaaally want one! I might send out one of my brothers to run across the street and buy me one at the coffee shop. ^ ^ Its lemon, but its still really sweet! And yeah, watermelon is great for summer, especially at the beach! And I don't even like the beach much. I have to go this weekend for a friend's bonfire though. I never know what shoes to wear at the beach because I hate getting my feet sandy and dry in flip flops, but the sand gets in all the other closed-toe shoes. Such a dilemma!

Yeah but we can't have them eating all the food or there won't be any left for the younger kids on the other days. xD Seriously though, teenage boys eat like beasts. Ohhhhh, that's Wario's Forest or whatever, its a different game, but I know what you're talking about. One of my favorite RPGs is actually Paper Mario for the N64. I also really liked Super Mario Sunshine, Super Mario RPG, and Mario Galaxy, they were fun games to play singularly.
They were awesome! I can barely remember much about them though, I should go back and play again... or just wait for the DS ones to come out. Probably the latter.
I wanted to be a police officer at one point, but mostly so I could get the position as detective. ^ ^

There was another spider in my room today, and only my youngest brother was home, but the Spider Vacuum didn't work so we used the real vacuum... xD Which probably killed it, which made me sad, but I didn't cry this time. =')
