I liked Seifer, actually. He had a goal in the whole game. He wanted to fulfill his dream. At least that's what he thought. XD

And besides, the thing I really adore about FF8: The theory about Rinoa being Artemisia. That was QUITE interesting, but there are so many theories, I haven't read them all. Yet, I'm still sure that there is something about the end that needs to be thought of... like Squall meeting himself. That MUST have changed something. @_@

Somehow I avoided FF all the years... I grew up playing Super Mario and The Legend of Zelda. Then, many friends told me to play FF... and then I somehow got addicted... in a way, at least. ^^"

What I hate most about FF8... Rinoa. She was just annoying. Always thinking that Squall should love her. And then she TRIED to be a rebel. But ended up being captured all the time and almost fell of B... Balamb Garden. (Almost forgot the name @_@) Gosh, she was sooo~ annoying... until Squall finally loved her back. Then Squall was WAY more annoying than she was XD

It might surprise you that 8 also was MY first FF.
I bought it in 2007 but I just didn't get how it worked - and then I got stuck when trying to fight Cerberus. I thought I HAD TO fight him, I didn't know he was just optional. But then I lost interest in the game, unfortunately. So when I picked it up again two years later, I was still pissed. XD But at that time I knew how to play the game. And then I beat that damn Cerberus.

Yup, that's my active, and I'm still in school, so I haven't hit the decay period yet lol. If I can at all avoid it, I won't ever hit it. I enjoy gaining new knowledge. I do exhibit the reasoning abilities of a genius, but I'm a major underachiever, so I'm not a straight A guy or anything. But I exhibit most of the other characeristics of my IQ. Like the massive superiority complex for one lol.

Hah, I think that was also my problem with FF7. I played 10, 12 and 4-6 before playing it. And 6 - for me - is the best one. So I found my favorite pretty soon. FF7 wasn't as good as 6 was, unfortunately. And 9 was also better than 7...
The only one that wasn't any better was 8. But we talked about that already XD

You hate FF7?!?! You're probably the first one to hate that game. I didn't like it that much either, but I wouldn't say that I hated it. It was okay. But I was expecting something totally different when playing it. Everyone told me FF7 would be such a great game, outstanding, the best game ever, the best FF, etc. @_@

You're quite right. I really didn't like the game, so it was hard for me to write a review. I think (I don't know what I really thought when writing it ^^") I wanted to say: "Goddamn game, I don't like it!" and not "So this is the game." Maybe I really had too much personal opinion in the review. ^^" I'm not good at writing reviews, anyways. But I didn't want to bash it - I wouldn't have played it if I only wanted to bash it. (I haven't got enough time to do THAT XD)
Sorry if it sounded like that. And yes, I sucked at the game. I somehow couldn't get into it even to the end. And maybe, just maybe, I was pissed because I needed five tries and about 1,5 hours to beat Ultimecia. Just maybe.

Why he fought back is not truly clear though some simple reasoning could shed some light. I feel that he was trying to take out as much as he could before death's grip got a hold of him. It would have been more interesting if what defeated The Undying was not the party but that time had run out - something similar to Shishio Makoto (if you are familiar with Rurouni Kenshin).

Most final bosses in the FF series have not been hard; they're made so players could enjoy the end of the game. This is where the optional bosses come in to give the player a better challenge.

Through the use of powerful magicks, weapons & armour, and abilities like some Espers & Quickenings they were able to defeat Vayne. The Occuria fashion themselves as Gods but they are more like demi-gods. In small battles the party was formidable as any experienced fighting group with powerful abilities would be, however they're not going to be moving like Zack or doing any of the stunts from Advent Children - for example.

A side note: the party was meant to defeat the Undying. After Vayne tells Venat that he is no Dynast-King she replies that he won't walk this path alone. Vayne's path was death, therefore she was going to die with him. It's an unique tidbit of knowledge because no other final boss in FF history was meant to lose. The Undying went into the battle already as the loser, it was not meant as a contest of survival.

I suppose in a technical sence she should be able to freeze time permanently but then she'd be a broken charecter...like playing as chaos in multiplayer. (hehehe, I wish) Anyway, they pretty much weakened everyone. I mean Garland pretty much is chaos and The Emperor gets his powers from chaos. Exdeath is supposed to be imortal...yeah everyone got weaker.
What do you think about Laguna? Exciting much!

Ultimicia? Nonsence my dear watson. She's really lame...and besides. I'm still mad that her time freeze ability wears off so quickly.

Y'see this? This could be considered both an off-topic, and one-liner post. If that thread were in General Gaming-the forum I moderate-there's a strong chance you would receive a spam warning for it. I have considered giving you a warning for your last couple posts in this thread, as well. They were also pretty short, and not only that, but every other post has been by you, a pattern that, should you continue it, I might give you a spam warning for post-whoring. That last one in particular was pretty short, and I would almost consider it off topic as well.

I advise you to try to add a bit more to your posts and to keep on topic, and to read our forum rules. I realize that a lot of older members set bad examples with really short posts, but they try to sprinkle humour into their off topic one liners. So if you're gonna post a one-liner, make sure it's funny at least Sorry if I come off as a dick. Anyhoo...

Well good thing I never explicitly said I was "smart" and I hope you aren't saying that I am not smart because I use the "tis" - which answers your question on who uses that word, I do. That would be weak reason as to why I'm not "smart".

I haven't been trying to prove why I needed to degrade your opinion in these past few replies of mine, though my answer could be found in the general questions I asked you.
You should give those questions some thought.

By "act smart" I'm referring how you tried to say I misspelled "between" wrong when I wasn't trying to spell "between" and I instead used the word "betwixt". Then right after you call me an impertinent swine. However since you were wrong about "betwixt", your brashness and attempt at insult as a follow-up made you an imbecile.
