how do I use the youtube tag, how do I set my youtube to autoplay, and how do I change the size of the youtube videos?
You can now use the YouTube tag is Visitor Messages, along with the other custom BB tags we have added over the years.
For example(remove the spaces):
[ youtube=cool video ]A67ZkAd1wmI&feature=related[ /youtube ]
between the tags you put everything after http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=
HTML is not allowed anywhere on TFF due to the high risk of XSS attacks from abuse of code. I am unsure why it was re-enabled on certain limited cases, but the security hole has been closed. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you, but it was never allowed in the first place.
If you have any questions on this matter, feel free to ask. Thanks.

- There is an example above.
- Autoplay is not considered a best practice of the internet and therefore not allowed.
- You cannot change the size. I can make it the "default" YouTube video size, but giving users free reign would result in people making videos that take up the whole screen, etc.
Was this created because I had a hidden autoplay Youtube video on my TFF profile?

My guess = yes.
Is it just my settings, or is the default setting for the videos too wide for viewing in a VM? I just posted one to my profile, but it won't fit without a scroll bar, and thus it can't display the whole frame at once.
I had it too, along with a few other members. It was neat while it lasted, but if it's a security risk, then I don't mind that it's gone. Plus, BB code works in VMs now, which is cool. Don't know if I'll use it for anything, but we'll see.
Click at your own risk.:
It was brought to my attention that people were evading the HTML ban. While no one was using the HTML for malicious reasons, it is still a security hole and must be blocked.
edit: Alpha, I just looked at your VM in both Firefox 3 and IE 8 and it works fine for me. Do you have other stuff installed? What browser / version do you use?
Using Chrome. Just updating it now. I'll see if that does anything.
It's still too big :/

I'd have to download Chrome. I haven't tried it on that. O.o I need it for testing later anyway so I might as well get it now.
How big is your resolution, Alpha?
Just downloaded Chrome and your video works fine for me. Check the attachment for how it looks when I shrink the browser way too far. It still is full size, I just have to scroll.
edit: Oh, well you already figured it out. XD
