Due to a ...faulty (yes, let's call it that) vB update patch, the forums temporarily exploded. We sincerely apologize for the mess that occurred, and had to shut down the forums for a couple of hours while it all got sorted out.

If you find ANYTHING odd, please let us know here in this thread and Merlin and I will look into it as soon as we can. We are currently aware that some of the templates are still a little "off" for the Internet Explorer users.

Please clear your cookies for TFF and log in anew as part of what the patch intended to clean up.

I think I've managed to revert as much as I can back to what it was. Part of the problem is that even though I tested it on a separate "test" database (and it worked), patching that one somehow corrupted this one. They have some uber-bad programming since the only connection between the two was that they were on the same server. Different databases, different caches, different cookie locations... *kicks VB Solutions Inc in the nuts*

So if you were one of the lucky few, you got to see a cool fake TFF for a short time and Fuzz got turned into a girl... if I wasn't panic-fixing stuff, I would've thought the latter was pretty damned funny.

TFF Dark has gone bye-byes. I can't see the option to change it anywhere.

Yeah. I logged out of TFF. Came back, and it had gone back to Light because that's the default. Now there's no option to change it back.

EDIT: WOW, things look different. Been thaaat long for me, lol.

EDIT2: WHOA. Okay. So after that edit, the template/border part around the post changed to the one from Dark. So... well, I'm taking a screen shot.

Entity, I've modified your settings from the Admin CP to fix your style; however, I will not have the time or patience to do this for everyone. I want you to keep your eye on Dark and see if there are any issues while I root through the settings and see if I can get the option back.

I even ran forum profile maintenance (for all 50,000 someodd users still in the database) for an hour AND used the "fix broken profiles" tool and I still cannot view your profile.


Victoria, did you clear your cookies? If not, you may still be seeing a cached version of the page.

Double post for the win; Victoria, I can't view your profile either.

I thought it may be an issue with usergroups, but Dawezy's profile is viewable (ruling out a supermod error) as is Entity's and some other mods.

Merlin, I'm at a loss here. What started as a pair of members seemingly ages ago has grown into a much larger issue. I started going through my friend list as well, and RamesesII is also unviewable, extending the freshly renewed error into the members category too.

The culprit is the credits and commerce system. I've had to disable it in order to get things working. There are no newer versions for this. The authors claim to be writing a new version, but I have seen nothing new since January. >_<

Also, if you have any profile stylings they are gone now... so you'll have to remake them. This was necessary in order to fix the profile issue.
