Final Fantasy XI XBOX360

Soon i will be buying Final Fantasy XI on XBOX360 with all 4 expansion's. I Just want to get your views on the game guys, will i find it difficult because this is my first real MMORPG

FFXI is geared towards the hardcore gamer. Which will mean that you will have to earn pretty much anything you want in the game through hard work. The game will not hand you much of anything. It has certainly gotten a little friendlier in recent years. It is very easy to get a party together with the new system and there are exp rings that give you a little boost. But money will probably be tight for a while until you get a handle of farming or get lucky on a NM. The community is very strong and helpful though, which is one of the big pluses. You still have your egoistical jerks in there, but mostly everyone there is nice, pleasant and willing to talk to you to answer your questions or hope you out. Most of the people that remain that this point are the devoted group that have been around for years. So they will have a wealth of knowledge for you. It will be a challenge, but I think its a worthwhile game. Its still very beautiful to look at even 7 years later.

Good job I'm a hardcore gamer, me and my 2 friends are kinda hardcore final fantasy fans and we each had our favourite (Me FFVII) (Steve FFVIII) (Pagey FFIX). We all live kinda close to each other so we took our TV & game round steve's and played our fav for 2 days straight (2hr Nap) just to see how far we would get

Anyway, i doubt i'll get bored lol

Congrats on buying FFXI!

I played it for 2 1/2 years before i retired my char for a lil bit due to joining the great ol' US ARMY. If your looking for a challenging MMO, this is the game for you. Know that there will be times you want to throw your controller at the wall but the rewards after a fiersome battle etc etc will make up for all that. If your looking for a good server i suggest Bahamut, I have alot of friends on there.

Anyways before I bore you, be patient with the game/people and you will do great.
