Has anyone had the good fortune of seeing Marebito? It's on instant view for Netflix(in case you have netflix) It's an interesting cross between your standard Japanese horror and H.P. Lovecraft. It concerns a man who accidentally records a person committing suicide. Fascinated by the look of absolute horror on the man's face. The cameraman decides to do a work on absolute terror. And follows the trail like a detective to an underground world of monsters only to bring one back with him.
It's easily my favorite Japanese horror movie. Also, I recommend my favorite Kurosawa film yet again. Please watch Yojimbo.

Mine too, actually. I found out it was Japanese only two or three years ago. Who would've suspected, really? It did have a British narrator and I don't remember anything distinctly Japanese about the film.

Mines is One Piece: Episode of Chopper Plus: Bloom in Winter, Miracle Sakura. I watched it yesterday and it was awesome because it helped me catch up on the bits I hadn't seen in ages and it was so sad I cried (and yes i'm not ashamed to admit that). And it had Franky who's one of my favorite characters. And it wasn't ruined by awful dubs.
i still enjoy Battle Royal, thats a nice cult classic
I like a lot of the Japanese movies but Mine most favourite one is "Kagemusha"...
