During a stopover in Germany in the middle of a carefree roadtrip through Europe, two American girls find themselves alone at night when their car breaks down in the woods. Searching for help at a nearby villa, they are wooed into the clutches of a deranged retired surgeon who explains his mad scientific vision to his captives’ utter horror. They are to be the subjects of his sick lifetime fantasy: to be the first to connect people, one to the next, via their gastric system, and in doing so bring to life 'the human centipede'.
So this is supposably one of the most talked about horror films of the year and yet until a week and a half ago I had heard nothing of it. Claiming the be 100% medically accurate, this film left me 100% thinking to myself "I payed how much to watch this movie.
Don't get me wrong the movie wasn't bad but it wasn't as good as I hoped it would be. A guy that I work with showed me the trailer for this and we ended up talking about how good we thought it was going to be. Needless to say in our jokes our expectations grew.
Given the over all concept is somewhat morbid and deranged it still struck my curiousity; kind of like a moth to a flame. I had to see this.
I convinced the wife to get it via Cox "on demand" a week before the launch into theaters. We sat down Friday night, got some snacks and beer and got ready to watch the horrors of the human centipede.
I figured this would be a typical run from the baddie movie, and it was for a short poriod of time but the most shocking thing was how the movie progressed rapidly.

With in the first 40 or so minutes the human centipede was created and the rest of the film was basiclly him trying to make them (it?) obediant.
The closing sequance I found to be rather meh and stupid.

Why the hell would he try to get the cops into the mix? Specially when he is so smart but doesn't realize that the cops went to get a search warrent for HIS residence and the fact that they were last seen going into HIS residence. Maybe he just didn't give a crap. Who knows and it really didn't tell.
So yeah those are just some of my thoughts on the film and I am curious as to others.
Even if you haven't seen it yet, never heard of it, or don't even plan on seeing it I still want your input.

Doctor was removing teeth from the girls and put them together to make a super centipede person lol
All in all it was a pretty grotesque movie, especially the bathroom scene (((((((((

when the centipede was in the cage at night making all sorts of noise and shit, I think that's when the doctor started to lose his mind because he couldn't get sleep so I think he let that plus the fact he made a monstrosity get to his nerves.
Anyways, it was something different and new, and apparently the director wants to make a trilogy and shit, so bring it on!

I'm not much for horror movies, especially ones that involve a lot of torture and gore. The premise did pique my curiosity though, so I made a little trip to Wikipedia to read up a bit more about it. From what I read, I think that I will take a pass on this, though I really didn't have it in my mind to watch it anyway.
This movie to me has the makings of almost becoming something like those Saw movies, where they're disturbing for the sake of being disturbing. Not to sound like a prude or anything, but watching a movie where....

3 people are connected together from their mouths to the other person's anus is pretty gross. If the person in front defecates, that waste is going into the other person's mouth... That's just nasty.
I will give credit where it is due though: It's certainly something different, but hopefully it doesn't go the way of the Eli Roth movies or the Saw franchise and just become something just ridiculously over-the-top gory that it's basically torture porn.
when seeing the trailer i thought wtf.
i still havnt seen it and not sure if i want to, got no problems with horror its just the mixed reviews of it all by people
