    Favorite John Hughes Movie

This morning Writer/Director John Hughes died from a heart attack while taking a walk. Most of you (especially those of you who were teens in the 80s) should know who he is or seen atleast one of his great works. In memory of him I thought we could share what are favorites are of his work.

I am fond of a lot of his movies but the two I believe I enjoyed the most were "The Breakfast Club" and "National Lampoons Christmas Vacation".

Here is the link to IMDB for a list of his movies that some of you may have forgotten.

Oh, that is so sad to hear. I think 59 is still quite a young age to pass away.

It seems that John Hughes had a lot of movies that I really enjoyed, but I'll just pick two as well.

"Home Alone" was one of my favorites growing up, and I still enjoy it even now. The sequel was okay, but I didn't care for any of the other ones.

I also enjoyed his version of "Miracle on 34th Street".

Hmmm...seems like my two picks are Christmas movies.

    Rest in peace, John Hughes.

The Breakfast Club is a great movie.

Not only is it funny, sexy and interesting, the characters are rreally recognisable.

I remember seeing it a couple of years ago. I must've been like 14/15, and I really understood those people.

Yup, great movie. I should check out some other movies by the dude.
