Saw the preview when I went to see Tron, I think. Looks absolutely badass, and I will definitely be going to see it.
I just saw the trailer for this, and it doesn't look half bad. Kinda like True Grit hits Skyline. The premise sounds kinda stupid (.44 revolvers and horses vs. plasma casters and spaceships? My money is on the E.T.s) but it looks like a pretty BA movie. I'll probably see it, but what do you think?

A friend of mine at work does nothing but watch movie trailers during his break; that's when I first saw the trailer. I was intrigued mainly because Daniel Craig is in it (I have had something of a crush on him since Casino Royale...), and my curiosity was furthered when I found out it also stars Harrison Ford.
A sci-fi Western that's going to be taken seriously? Sounds interesting...
In any case Mr. Craig is in it, so I'm in!

It sounds like some studio execs were out of ideas for new films and decided to mash together 2 different genres drawn at random. Hell, they didnt even bother coming up with a name, just calling the film after the lots that were drawn, "Cowboys" and "Aliens".
Still though, as cynical as I am, the movie is looking like it might shape up to be pretty interesting. And lets face it, Daniel Craig was born to play the role of a gunslinger.
