Musical Abyss: Practice battle Silver vs. Flash

(OOC: Flash, here's the setting, my character and introductory post. Just look at how you structure things, do all the obvious things (like a spell check) and then reply in a way that introduces your character well and either sets up a situation or make an attack towards Grunge.

Experimental Training Room #9475

A large virtual training room in which both combatants are secured into suits rigged with devices for emulating natural forces and stand on a specialised treadmill like platform that changes speed and direction so that the combatants stand in the one place yet are able to use all their abilities as normal. Special harnesses allow for jumping, leaping and aerial combat. Virtualised items and weaponry are programmed to be treated the same way as they would normally, but the items and weaponry themselves are not actually used. (In other words treat it as if they were the same weapon, but damage to weapons and the like will not take effect outside of this battle. Limited quantity weapons such as throwing knives and weaker projectiles are unlimited here, but specialised heavy damage dealing limited quantity weapons remain finite.)

Inside the program there is merely limitless space which can react to the combatant's thoughts. Storms can be introduced as can fire, water, false sunlight and mist. Hard surfaces that feel like solid ground yet are 2 dimensional can be temporarily summoned, but only two at a time by any one being. They may be either horizontal (flooring) or vertical (walls) but not at any other angle.

As Grunge approached room #9475, he wondered who his practice opponent would be. His dark, black eyes took in everything around him as he wondered how he should approach this battle. Would his opponent appreciate his music, that which Grunge held above everything at this point in time?

Grunge reached the room and carefully lowered his guitar DISTORTION to the ground leaning it against the reinforced wall. Even though there was but a millimeter of space between the bottom of the guitar and the ground, it still hit with a loud bang, and Grunge noticed one of the technicians inside wince at the sound of DISTORTION putting a solid dent in the floor.

Grunge entered the room controllably fast, the ends of his predominately red flannel shirt fluttering slightly with the moving air. As he entered the suit that would allow him access to the virtual battleground, he noticed a stark contrast between the perfect order of the room and his torn jeans. After several minutes of watching the technicians fine-tune the equipment, and listening with little to no comprehension to their conversation of mostly jargon, the display of the visor Grunge found himself wearing went pitch black.

He was standing on a transparent sheet that felt like hard earth beneath him. As Grunge stared down he could not see an end to the infinite nothing. Just as there seemed to be nothing above him or to his sides. Thankfully his virtual DISTORTION felt exactly as it had back in the real world. Grunge started playing an old grunge song that had been one of his favourites. As he felt his opponent approach, he kept playing. He wished to gauge the man's reaction...
