Screen capturing from TV > PC

What are them devices called that capture your TV screen and send the data to your PC. I wantz one!

Or at least something that captures it onto a removable USB HD

Not sure what you mean, could you be more specific?

My hunch is you're not looking to capture the TV itself, rather the device outputting to the TV, in which case you'd want said output device to connect to your PC somehow. If it's something like a blu-ray/DVD player, cable box, et cetera, your video card will need to be HDCP capable to decode since most media these days is encrypted.

If you're looking to record, FRAPs is what most people generally use.
