Question Animated GIFs speed up when using Firefox...

Something I've noticed for a while, pretty much ever since I started using Firefox, is that sometimes the speed of an animated gif will be much faster than if I were to view it using just Internet Explorer. It doesn't happen for all gifs, since my avatar and banner look to be about the same speed in either browser, but for others...it's definitely noticeable.

Just wondering if anyone knows why that is. It's not a big problem or anything, I'm just curious.

Firefox is so baller that it has negative loading times.

It varies with all browsers really. I.E has a set FPS rate as opposed to others meaning any gifs set over the limit will automatically be played slower. Firefox and some other browsers usually play gifs at whatever they have been set at.
