I tried googling that monster, Alucard, but unfortunately couldn't find it. >_<

Anyway, did anyone else know that before the nurses in Silent Hill 2 were given pipes for weapons, they walked around with IV units?

I think that would've been a lot more scary, to be honest. Why? A nurse watching around with an IV stand?

C'mon! How creepy would that be?!

I can just imagine the squeaking of the wheels as well... *shudders violently.*

Really? that would have been ALOT more scary. Or if they walked around pushing wheel chairs, even though they couldn't really use them as weapons it would be scary. I was SO close to getting SH4 i bought it from a pawn shop and when i opened the case.. there was a different game in it, I got my momey back but, that just sucks!

    Sevion, wow that's shitty!

And yeah... My brother and I said there should've been another type of hospital monster that sits still in a wheelchair, but jumps out at you. (Assuming there was only one or two of these things in the game, since you'd know what to expect in the end. )

I think Silent Hill 5 should have the IV stand nurses in!

I'd say that the IV stands would be a nice touch indeed.

I think that the nurses should have been all jolty, kind of flashing, I don't know...it's hard to explain. Kind of like they're teleporting around, but not really, they'd just hop to a different place super fast and then right back when they are coming at you. Just to make it really crazy looking.

It's kind of hard to explain what I mean...

I think I get you... Sort of the way an Old time movie skips a little except just the imagine of the nurse and without the old timey static??

I think that's how you mean. Although it'd be hard to target those mother****ers.

    I say IV stands ftw.

Should be in SH5... I'm assuming theres' a nurse-like creature in the upcoming title anyway.

Exactly! However, the nurse wouldn't actually be behind you when it "skipped", it'd just be a crazy illusion that would flash now and again. The nurse would actually be in front of you the whole time.

Think "The Suffering". You know how sometimes monsters will come at you that aren't even there and you'll swing for the fences at something that isn't really there. Something like that.

I considered investing in The Suffering once. Hmm! I wish I had now.

Illusions? I'm thinkin' Exorcist subliminal messages now as well as the statickyness, haha.

It would be a good way to prove (in the storylines) a characters' mental state, too. A load of psychological meaning could come out of that.

I think they should like shake around alot when they come towards you like, move theiir body alot like they are having a seasure, and like certain ones would crawl on the ground and stuff. The flashy movment sounds cool too, kinda like they are tleporting back and forth between their posistion but they arn't really moving?

The fast twitching stuff would be cool, too. Say they did it in short bursts like every five seconds or so...maybe just completely at random. If you mix that with the static teleporting thing, you've got one scary ass nurse.

Staticy, teleporty, fast twitching nurse ftw.

I never liked the suffering, it was to much action and it never scared me. Not that i don't like action games but, it seemed to dark for an action and nt to be scary. Plus the story ine confused me alot.

I really liked The Suffering, but I agree...it wasn't that scary at all. I did like certain aspects of it, but I won't really go into it here.

I need to work on the SH4 walkthrough a bit more here in the coming days. My recent activities have kind of kept me away from things.

    Ahhh...

I'm getting my best friend even more into Siletn Hill than ever before.

I should be going around to his place next week armed with my Silent Hill 1, 2, 3, The Room and the DVD. We're going to play them all til we clock them all. I think it'll take us two days.

    Think about it...

Silent Hill 1 = 10/11 -ish hours considering it's been years since I played it.

    Silent Hill 2 = 6/7 -ish hours.

    Silent Hill 3 = 7/8 -ish hours.

Silent Hill 4: The Room 9/10 -ish hours.

Silent Hill DVD = 2 and half ish hours.

And we'll be breaking for pepsi and pizza occassionally of course. I really hope I can go there next week now.

Just thought I would mention I got my copy of Silent Hill 4: The Room in the mail today, I am yet to play it due to the TV not being free but also cause I need to go through 3 next (Which I will probably go through next).

I played some Silent Hill 3 today and yesterday.

I'd left one of my saves and not bothered with it for a while. I finished through the subway yesterday and the underpass, too, and played through the sewer. I'm just inside the hospital now, in the reception room.

Looking forward to blasting some nurses to the dust.

I'm actually in a bit of a pickle on Silent Hill 3 right now.

You know in Brookhaven Hospital, on the third floor? I was trying to go into the main ward, but can't figure out the combination of the door. The weird thing is, I had no problem figuring it out last time, but this time, it seems nothing I try works.

I've been throughout all accessible areas inside of the hospital, and examines pretty much everything, but still can't get in.

    I even looked on GAMESFAQ.

Could I be missing a different code?

    Any suggestions??

Sorry for not being on for so long, my internet and phone simultaneously crapped out for about 2 weeks, but i just got it back up now so I will be posting. Other then that I've been board for that time, I got a lot further in SH2 but i only played it once or twice, I can't figure out where to put the gem the second time.

Apparently if you use it in the hotel room where James watches the video tape, it works there.

I'm not sure how true that is, but it'd be interesting to see for sure.

Also, you know in the Hospital, when Pyramid Head knocks you down into that little square garden? If you use it in there, it supposedly changes the ending there, too.

Anyway, I'm snowed in! Soooo, today will consist of nothing but catching up on video games (which I've been putting off for a long time now). Silent Hill is callllling!

I haven't actually played Silent Hill for about two weeks now.

I dug out my old Tomb Raider games. That hospital puzzle on Silent Hill 3 really did piss me off, I guess. I SEARCHED THAT DAMNED HOSPITAL TWICE, BUT STILL!!! --- ...

I guess I want to play Silent Hill 2 again lately...

But I wanna get a new ending.

I got my friend playing. We were sitting in my apartment last night, bored, and I was like, "You could always play Silent Hill." And ever since then, he's been bugging out, trying to figure out why the game is so creepy.
