There's actually this whole theory behind SH2 that all of the enemies are creations of James' psyche.
Spoiler: They're all actually people, and James' mind has been incredibly distorted and he now sees them all as these horrific monsters. Each monster is directly to the storyline and the main protagonists inner demons.
That's actually a theory having to do with all of the games, not just SH2.

I unfortunately can't remember any of the endings, so I don't remember what the In Water ending is. Is there somewhere where I can look up the different endings and what they are? Or should I just settle for GameFAQs?

No, we aren't using any tags "officially".
As for the signatures and avatars, we should get them made. Who should we call upon for the help? I make horrible avatars and signatures. I know we could post in the digital community, but I don't know. I like leaving that to one specific person, but I have no idea who to ask.

If I could just get Heather in my signature, I'd be more than happy. I think we should have individual ones, but keep the Wish House part in the signature, though. That way we're formal. :D
I'm just wondering if we should start ranking our members. Like make three or four "higher rank" Wish House members. The ones that can basically earn usage of a Wish House tag. We don't want n00bs running around with Wish House tags if they're only going to get banned from Wish House.
That's just my thoughts, though. I'm not sure what you guys think.

On what would people be ranked? How many times they've beaten the games? Which games they've beaten? How knowledgeable they are about SH?
I'm not completely sure. I thought you guys could help me with that. There is the fact of not actually being able to generalize on who's the "best" or most knowledgable Wish House member. I was thinking about how much the members contribute to Wish House -- posts, pictures and idea wise.
Then again, I'd like to get Hollow's view on this, since I'm "co-leader" of this club. So it's really up to him. :p
Well I don't think we could rightly just do it based off who's played/beaten the most games. I say someone makes a quiz about the surface and in depth analyses of the game and then highest score is a higher rank? Is that fair? Or is it down the crapper?
I like the idea of a rank style system and I like the idea for the test, but being online, all anyone would have to do is go to yahoo and search for the answers. If we did tests, it would have to be via messenger with like a 10 second time limit per answer. I'm not sure.
Or we could devise a system where you climb through the ranks via points. Each Silent Hill activity that you do is worth a certain amount of points and each rank will take a certain amount of points to obtain.
However, I'd like to set the bar pretty high for this so everyone doesn't just fly through the ranks and then their done. I really like that idea. We'll just have come up with which activities are worth what.
I like that idea, Hollow.. We'd have to make it about 250 points, though. Maybe even more if we're to make it a challenge.
Hell, we could have a set of banners that state your rank. (Making them small, about 200x100 or vise versa.

I like the idea of points and the icon tags are cool to. I have a suggestion every 50 points or so you get a new rank?. Or we could make it higher or lower. Hollow point is right about using the interent to search for answers so that might not work.
Well, I'd suggest the second rank being at... say 15-20 points.
Then the number gets higher as you go along. (Assuming you get like 1, 2 or even 3 points depending on how good the activity you take part in is). We could make the ranks. I'll do a rough draw in a moment of the ranking system and post it here. Hollow Point may look over this, he may agree or disagree. And he may change and/or use my ideas. I've got some good ideas anyway. Hell, I'll try and get my Dante to do the tags for us, but if not, I could create something simple for us. :)
Yeah anything would be good just to get more people to join and stuff like that.

I actually had to skim through Chez's idea, but I got most of it. I just re-read it and she's on the same page that I'm on. 15-20 points to get the second rank. However, like I said, I don't want it to be easy to advance at all. It'll take time, but if you truely enjoy Silent Hill, you'll progress through the ranks in no time. So, here's what I'm thinking...
Rank 1: (0-14 points) The starting point. When you first join Wish House, this is where you'll be.

Rank 8: (180-249 points)
Rank 9: (250-254 points) This will be a reward to getting so far in the ranking system. A small break to catch up on your stamina.

Now, before you guys freak out with what I'm about to say, just keep in mind that I set the points so low in order for you to always have something to look foward to. There will also be physical rewards for obtaining certain ranks. I can handle this personally. Be it a Silent Hill game or a Silent Hill shirt, if you get far enough, you'll get stuff like that. I promise that there will be rewards for going far.
Now, here's the point system that I have in mind. There are catches!
(1 point): Submitting fan art, fan fiction or putting up pictures of your Silent Hill collection.
(2 points): Submitting (new) news about Silent Hill. This means the movies, games or graphic novels. A source must be provided to prove that it is new.
(3 points): Giving an in depth review on Silent Hill. No one liners or single paragraphs!
Now, for the heavy points...
(10 points): Beat any Silent Hill game, take a picture of the screen after the credits to show that you've beaten the game. In order for this to work, you must physcially (not through paint or photo shop) write "Wish House" on a piece of paper and have it in the picture with the screen. Any way that you can prove that it is legit.
(20 points): Win the Cry of the Siren competition once it is being held. Again, you must have proof that you've completed the task that has been issued. The tasks will be difficult.
(50 points): Issue a challenge in Silent Hill to Chez or I. If we agree on your challenge, we'll take the challenge. If we can't complete your challenge, you get 50 points. Again, we will show proof of completion to you.
Onto the negatives...
(-1 point) Spam. If you spam or one line, you lose a point. Sorry, but that's just how it goes!
(-2 points) Flaming or flame baiting.
(-3 points) Inviting someone into Wish House without either Chez or my consent. It's okay if you refer someone to us, but please don't take it upon yourself to invite them. Again, it's for the better!
If your points drop into the negatives (even -1), you'll be removed from Wish House. I don't have any concerns that any of the current members will do this, but trust me guys (and girls), it's for the best. I know you don't want people in here posting nonsense just as much as we don't. That's another reason why it's invite only. To cut back on the spam and new guys (I refuse to use the term "noob") just coming in and cluttering things up.
Our member list will grow, but it will grow with dedicated people and people smart enough to make proper posts. I think it's fair.
Anyway. As for the rank titles and their matching avatars and signatures, I'll have to get back to you on that one, because I'm at a loss right now (plus, I've just typed a shit load of letters here).

Cry of the Siren is explained in the first post. As for the challenges to Chez and I, you guys can find something for us to complete in Silent Hill. A difficult task. If we can't complete it, you get 50 points.
Lai Lai Hei, you don't need to beat the games again just for proof, it's just another way to get a bunch of points.
Like I said, I'm willing to buy prizes for those who get to certain ranks. I'm not sure what rank it will be, but it will be in there somewhere.

Well i am currently trying to beat SH2 again and when i do i will take a picture of the credits of the letter if i get it? Or you mean the part you it says you beat the game? Well what ever it will still take about 3 hours of playing time and about 5 days
