Ah taking pictures huh? Well then, I figured I'd take mine too. Looks like I still need to get my copy of SH4: The Room but in due time, actually I think it'll be the next game on my list.

And Alucard, yeah, I was so ****ed when I thought Silent Hill 4 was first person.
When it was like that, I was all "hey, wait... I don't really want to play a first person Silent Hill game..."
Luckily, it fits well in the apartment room but anywhere else is shit.
So I wound up getting SH2 Greatest Hits and another little gem for Christmas. I'm actually wearing it now. It's got Heater Morris (really big on the shirt) all the way down the side, aiming a gun and says "Silent Hill" on the back. :D
Pretty psyched about this shirt. Not going to lie.

Seriously, though, this should be good! My boyfriend didn't buy me anything, just goes to show who cares enugh to make an effort and who doesn't, right? Heh. Anyway, though. I've watched Sielnt Hill a few times, taken some pretty screenshots and whatnot!

Maria's story is freakin short. I haven't finished it yet, but I skimmed through a walkthrough for it and it doesn't look like it's very long. I've only been playing it for about 20 minutes. I'll probably finish it tonight.
One guy ... can't remember who, said it only lasted for about an hour, and that's when he first played it. On the other hand, it was meant to only be a sub-story... It's good, though?

Yea Maria's Sub-story dissapointed me, untill the end of it. It added a new twist to the story so that was cool. It also makes you think maria isn't just made up in james's..(jameses..w/e) mind. I always thought she was just his mind, what he wnated from Mary, but getting to play her makes me wonder.
Well, for the mostpart many think it's just a different way of looking at the story. However, Konami pretty much fixed the lid on the story, implying that Maria was, (in the Silent Hill 2 story), just a ...

...To make James guilty for what he did to Mary. I don't really think he wanted Maria's traits, since he, in most of the endings, just wanted to his wife.
Unfortunately, it was too late, but I'd have liked to known that James had kept his wife in mind always.
You need to remember that Mary's illness disfigured her and caused her to have violent mood swings, so that's probably one reason as to why James was pushed away from her a little.
I don't remember, how do you play Maria's story? I know it's been said before, I just can't remember.
I think Maria's story is exclusive to the Xbox realease of the game, unfortunatley. I'm going to have to check around and see if the PC version might have it.
Kira, it's for PS2, too. I have the box for the PS2 version, actually... just not the disk, unfortunately. ;!

On topic note though, I just finished looking around about the Maria minigame. It was indeed an added option a bit after the game came out, which I probably did not get with my copy since I got it on release day for the PS2.
I'm guessing it was added on for the PS2 version of the initial Europe release though since it came out about 2 months or so after the U.S/Japan release. Ah well, appearently it's no big deal but I would've enjoyed it no less.

Anyways, I should be fixing up my PlayStation soon and playing through Silent Hill 1 for the first time in eight years. Oh the excitement!
As far as I know, the Maria story is only on the Xbox version and the Greatest Hits version of SH2. I own both versions of SH2 now and the black label version doesn't contain Maria's story.
Like I said, Maria's story isn't very long and it's not very difficult (so far). I'm not sure if there are even any bosses that she encounters.
Well you don't have to play threw the game to get the side quest, but you can beat the sidequest is 11 minutes. I've been busy with trauma center and zelda: twilight princess on the Wii lately, I tried to play SH1 yesterday but couldn't for long. Tommorow I will have a silent hill new years eve!
I still haven't played Maria's story all the way through. I know I'm more than half way through it, though. Perhaps I will play the rest of it today sometime?
Also, a friend let me borrow a PS1. I'm going to finish up the first SH soon, too. I know I could have played it on PS2, but I'm kind of weird about playing PS1 games on a PS2. I can't explain it...

They may not be done for a while, since I need to install the camera and buy some shoes that look like Heathers, but once that's done, I'll get you guys some piccies!
I already have Maria's boots and top done. I don't have a skirt like hers, but I'll improvise. ;!
I plan on doing Heather, Maria and Eileen, since I have clothes like theirs. I was thinking of doing Cynthia, but her sluttishness would probably earn me a few creepy fans... heh.
Heather will probably be my favourite, though, for obvious reasons.

Anyways, my Maria boots cost £10, which was a great deal, considering they were £35 before.
I'll need to improve a lot of these clothes, but I'd like to have shoes like Maria and Heather since I want to take body shots of myself "as them".
Eileen will probably be more of a waist-up shot. ;!
What about Lisa? Somebody needs to dress up as Lisa! I just love that piece that plays, its rather a simple song to play but still fairly good.
I want to watch the Silent Hill movie again but I am waiting to see if my mates coming down or what as he was the one who got me into the series in the first place. Probably go through 2 again with him or perhaps start 3 but for now I am busy with other games.
I should dress up as Pyramid Head sometime, actually we need a Pyramid Head gift \m/ "_" \m/
Oh and for those who like Metal look out for The Axis of Perdition, its Industrial Black Metal with in the vein of Silent Hill, I am sure you'd be into it Alucard.

And my hair is probably a little too short for that as well. My hair could be between Maria's/Eileen's and Heather's. Although I'm getting it hacked short next month, so it may be just longer than Heather's...

Really, I wonder what they are gonna base it off of. the couldn;t base it off of Silent Hill 2, because they already put pyramid head in there and some of the story had to do with silent hill 2 things. Maybe they will base it off of three, but I hope they don't just go off of the first one and make an entirely different movie from the games.

Since it said "correct all of the mistakes from the first film", I'm detecting a spin-off of some Silent Hill 3 references, since Silent Hill 1 and 3 are tightly linked. Perhaps not, though, there are no really cool-looking enemies from Silent Hill 3 apart from the nurses... Hmm!
I'm a little nervous about what this means though, since they used a lot of the cooler references in the first movie.
Although at the same time, I'd love to see a Silent Hill 2 movie!

If they stay true to the story, that means PH will move than likely not appear in the second film.

They might use the monster idea that was originally created soley for Silent Hill 2 (was later removed and replaced with Pyramid Head) before Pyramid Head was created? I wonder if I can find a picture of that monster to post here...
I don't think I've ever seen the monster that you're talking about, so you should definitely post it. I'd like to see it.
It's going to be difficult for them to make a second movie, to be honest. I mean, they took so much from every one of the games that it would be difficult to make another film so true to the games without reusing something from the first film, you know?
