The weather in stockholm has been warm, in fact we owned spain, 32 degrees celsius, you ass got owned.

Now its kind of cold though, I hope that the weather is better tomorrow though since Im going to the theme park!!

Damnit people, Ive had alot of names.
I used to be called <B> Vadrigar, ShadowReborn, Paladin and Gray Fox.</B> But Khorde will (I hope) stick with me forever.

Okey guys i know nothing about HTML, thats why my sig sucks. I cant get my own pic either. The root of all this is my Modem, when i get ADSL (broadband) i will be able to post more and look on the net for pics and read HTMl guides, but now Im stuck. Come on really now, Ive been here for one year and check my Post Count, THATS NO ERROR, yes low.
I dont meen that I will spam when I get broadband, I will just be able to be as active as I want. So dont think I dont care for TFF, I love it and its Community. Whenever somebody leaves TFF it sucks big time, its as if a member in your family is leaving.
Yeesh, im never so serious. IM CHANGING, AND I CANT STOP IT!!!
    Help ME, PLEASE!!!

OHH yeah, congratulation. You´ve just read my whole sig, and if you havent started crying out of boredom and pain. I thank you for that.

Note:You can not sue me for any damages that my have been done to you physically or/and mentally.

Anybody else watches some of the football games lately?
Or at least the ones for your own country.
I really enjoyed watching Holland own the shit out of Italy, tonight they're playing again, so hoping they'll win against France!

    Peace out

I haven't watched much of the games, just what they show in the news. The most I watched was Croatia vs Germany. It was pretty nice, at least the part I watched. Germany couldn't do a thing because of the pressure Croatia put in their defence.

I'd simply love to watch my home country but unfortunately my foolhardy and somewhat pathetic national team managed to screw up a rather easy qualifying group to such an extent... they didn't bother to qualify. And then they lost to France 1-0. Bah.

Actually, of all part-time jobs in retail, I'd most prefer to work in WHS. A lot of friendly old people work there. Old people are nice to work with. In my experience... young people in parttime retail jobs aren't that nice :/

However, I have a part-time job in Web Development, which is a good job

Obviously i don't have any home nations in the Euros, so am supporting the Spanish instead, having been there a few times myself and realyl enjoying myself there.

England suck. No contest, I'm english and don't mind admitting this

I've been watching bits of the Euro with my dad. Ever since Scotland beat France and lost to Georgia (yes, that did happen) I've been supporting Poland. But after seeing Holland whoop the Azuri, I'm rooting for the Dutch and the Polish both. Van Der Sar is my man of the tournament so far.

Haha sorry but I remember the loss to Georgia... you do the double over France then lost to them, I couldn't explain it. Poland have it all to do thanks to Howard Webb who may have got that holding decision completely correct in my opinion, but is still derided for it... but it's possible against a Croatian side who'll probably rest some players for the quarters. Though having said that with the Germans only needing a draw against an Austria side whom are not only playing for national pride but a sense of revenge for a certain event happening roughly 70 years ago (sorry to bring up the war but it happened) I have a feeling they'll find it tough.

Much as it irritates me the Dutch look outstanding and to inflict the heaviest defeat on the French in a major championship since 1958 is testament to their supposed togetherness and team spirit, often found lacking (and has actually been in the build-up) but I'm still having Portugal to win. They fielded a very weakened side against the Swiss and could still have ended up with a draw if Nani and Ricky Quaresma had taken chances. Still not to take away from the Swiss, they were exceptional and gave the hosts something to cheer about now both countries are out.

Croatia are the real dark horses though. If they can avoid injuries to Luka Modric and Nicky Kranjcar they should make the semis at least. Modric has really impressed me with his movement in and around the box, and Niko can keep things ticking over in the middle of the park. But Simunic is still a ticking time-bomb as far as I'm concerned so the defence in general will need to be impressed. Slaven has a well drilled unit and they are becoming a major force in International Football.

Wow Holland really owned France last friday, I was shocked to see 4-1..wow.
They're on a role, and I truly have to agree, van der Sar was once again a freaking robot how he ninja'd all those balls away from the goal.
Tomorrow against Rumania, eventhough it's only a formal match since they're already to the next round I'm still curious to see how they will do.

    Peace out

So, the finalists are decided: Spain x Germany. Who do you want to win? I personally don't have a favorite between them but I'd say Spain since Germany was the one that kicked Portugal out of the tournament and, afterall, the Spanish are "nuestros hermanos"

    VAMOS SPAIN

I don't want Germany to win. Nothin against the Germans. But they don't have little shockers like Villa. And what cute little touches Torres put on tonight as well. Xavi from nowhere. Just ****ing revenge for that Russian defeat of Holland. I am still annoyed about that. 3-1. What a sad day. Up yours, Arseshaving. Srsly. I guess the better team won, but still, I liked seeing all these wee guys running around in bright orange.

Anyway. Spain for me. Germany are old guard, and I don't think they can keep up with this new, seemingly rejuvinated Spain. Then again, I haven't really seen Germany; my dad's yelling got too annoying whenever they were on. One can only take the other N word so much before leaving and finding somewhere quiet and father-free to sit down. God, that man can yell.

Anyway. Hasta la victoria d'Espagne! Has it ever been more obvious that I don't speak Spanish? I think not. I think Torres/Villa will put on a show for us.

Unfortunately not. I think Villa is definitely out now. But still letting loose a rejuvenated Torres against a somewhat ageing, mediocre German defence in Metzelder and Mertesacker is going to be fun to watch. Pip Lahm had a shocker too but he can still shoot. He scored a stunner against Costa Rica in the 4-1 demolition job otherwise known as the opening of the 2006 World Cup, and he did it again against the Turks the other night. He could be key... but he also needs to make a tackle occasionally.

Of course you can. We're in dire need of European Things to Talk About since Euro 08 ended (WELL DONE SPAIN).

In other news, this thread in on Page 42. This is surely a sign from Mr D. Adams. My flat next year is a 42 also; sometimes, I can't help but think that Deep Thought was right.

The other continents appear to be usurping us.

So, what about Sarkozy as EU Pres, huh? Yeah, let's talk EU! Since it's all we've got going for us and it's still too weak to tell Russia to **** off.

Aha, actually, that's a European-related thing. How do you feel about the Russian situation, guys? Are they being bolshy and reckless, or were they just defending South Ossetia against the mental Georgian president?

Ach. I don't want to offend the Russian contigent of TFF (should we have one) but well... I don't like their actions one little bit. I'm sorry but I do feel rather qualified to comment on Russian behaviour because well I've studied it so long. And I just am not a fan. It was overly aggressive and very undiplomatic. I just thought it was very unnecessary.

However I suppose it should be taken to account that you have to be reliant on what the media portrays. And well it's not good is it.

As for it starting a new Cold War? Bah. Medvedev and Putin aren't stupid enough. The Russian economy is dependant on Western energy companies buying their plentiful resources. So while they do for the time being have a reasonable bargaining chip, when new energy methods come into play, they could find their hand turns into a busted flush.

And Nick Sarkozy... Jury's out on that one.

I agree with what you're saying about the media, Martin. So many news shows and papers completely failed to mention that Georgia is just as responsible for this mess as Russia is - the way I see it, the Georgians' action was vaguely equivalent to the Republic of Ireland carpet bombing Northern Ireland and demanding the UK do nothing.

I hate the way the British media seem to do that. Russia and China can't do anything nice or right, ever, point blank. It's such an, dare I say it, American trait. We shouldn't be like that. My faith in the BBC is waning. Sad sad sad .

You're right though, they're not about to start a new Cold War. It's great to see that someone else recognises that the Russians are only getting stronger because of Western investment in Gazprom et al, and naturally will want more than anything for that to continue. They did do a bit much on the Burn and Pillage front; but then again, most of the media here weren't too quick to distinguish between the Russian troops and the minority vigilante groups that were roaming around and causing a lot of the trouble, most of it, in fact.

We should totally take over the UK's media. We'd be well better. HAHA.

I find Sarkozy funny. Every single little thing he does in the EU is done purely with the aim of getting the French to like him again. Watch the little guy, leaning on podiums with one arm and drawling in French. It's hilarious.

Exactly right. Conflict often involves (shocker) TWO sides usually. And while neither side is going to come out particularly unscathed. If studying History has taught me anything it's that well... fact is a fallacy in many cases. They're manipulated. Media intrusion speeds up this process. Hell just look at WWI for this, it marks the onset of a new age of propaganda war.

Bringing this to the present day.. Yes Russian action is as I said, undiplomatic and aggressive... but Georgia has been rather belligerent also. I just want to see a peaceful end to the whole sorry affair. It's damaged both countries' standing in the world if you ask me.

Heather, if you ask me the quality of the BBC has been waning for so long... It's such a shame there's not a single viable and somewhat credible alternative out there. We should take over.. we bloody should! We'd make it realistic. We'd go out old-school, sod all the equipment, sod all the fancy VT's... one camera, one microphone. Two people. That's why the BBC's as skint as it is.. They have hangers-on. They're essentially becoming the Paris Hilton of the broadcasting world. And that's not even getting started with the (lack of) quality programming now available on said network...

HA, you knocked the nail right on the head with Sarkozy! Something about him just reminds me of a French Tony Blair. Hell he has to be better than Jacques Chirac. And don't even get me started on Jean-Marie Le Pen, imagine if that lunatic was in charge. I'd actaully consider invasion.

Haha! French Presidents have always been my favourites. Have you ever studied the history of the EU, going back to the EEC and EEA days? De Gaulle was hilariously bad back then. He'd do things like set up entirely new, doomed to fail France/Benelux organisations just to try and make the British annoyed. And then insult them. And then ask to be back in their club. And then make a whole new thing with Benelux when he got annoyed again.

I wish the BBC were better. So much of their stuff is biased these days, and they've developed a tendency towards reporting American news like it's British news - I mean, I know New Orleans was in danger again, but should that really take precendence over news about Darling's mental speech and its effect on the pound? In the UK, I don't think so. I'd like to see more of our news. I promise you, that's not just latent anti-Americanism. I just don't see why their news is more important to our national news service than ours is.

Even Channel Four News sent Jon Snow to the Conventions in America, and it was their headline too. I know that their election is important to everyone, since they are the hegemon and the outcome of their election will invariably impact on our lives in some way (GO OBAMA). But still.

Let's take back the BBC...somehow. Refuse to pay the TV licence? Picket their building, send some Angry Letters that might get read out on that Your Views show they put on at 3am on BBC 2 sometimes (I love that show, by the way. All the letters from old biddies complaining about the vulgar language in Never Mind the Buzzcocks. Haha).

Ah yes indeed. We renamed both organisations from a Frankie Boyle quote... The MMFB Economic Area or "More Money For Bastards". Haha let's just give all the major tax breaks to the rich! That'll never fail! I could write a bloody essay on our Lord and Master Charles De Bloody Gaulle though... that man was fantastic. I'd actually LIKE France (I have nothing against the people... people, just mainly the governmental systems you've had in place since the Revolution: I'm all for 'Libertie, Egalite and Fraternite') if the maniac was still in control.

I'll give you another reason why I positively despise the BBC news system. Bar the interactive services it should be abandoned almost entirely. For example, I'm sure you have, but do you ever watch BBC One when it goes to the News 24 feed? Late night of course. I just love how you get maybe twenty minutes of British-reported news, followed by a RECORDING of some American news channel like CNN... I have no problem with America or Americans. I love America. Bar Russia it's my center of knowledge historically. I plan to emigrate there and hopefully try to find some teaching work there someday. But I do not need a recording of their news. I have CNN. If I want to watch CNN I put on CNN and I watch CNN. I watch News 24 because I want to ****ing watch NEWS 24. Surely this isn't too much too ask.

Of course no-one could put a straight face on and say the American elections aren't important. Heather you are indeed so right when you say they'll impact on everyone. I mean economically speaking at the very least, because McCain and Barack have different economical methodologies they want to implement: the repercussions of which will certainly sweep across the Atlantic and dictate other Western economic policy for years to come. But the average Sun reader of my fine country could not give a toss. They really couldn't. This will sound eletist but it's the truth.

I'm sending you an open invitation to come picket the BBC with me. My Uni faces the BBC in Manchester
We can take the BBC back into the hands of those who could really improve it, and even if not, there's always the Philharmonic Orchestra there to watch practice... and it's free too.

And lastly, I've never seen that my dear! I must try to catch it, Points of View just doesn't do it for me now it's Jeremy Vine hosting it...

How about this weather, guys? Everybody loves the sun, but I like the rain so I'm in my element. And the cold has inspired me to cook up homemade stews and soup and offer them out.

Actually, I'm still jobless so I have to save whatever pennies I have in my pocket for peoples' Christmas presents. Shopping starts next week. I'm an early buyer.
