I doubt very much that man, can or ever will posses the capability to harness enough energy to affect anything as large as say Jupiter let a lone the entire cosmos. We can't even have fast food as an option in our diet without going overboard and causing an entire generation to be obese, I doubt very much we'll survive to utilize such interesting technology.
