Thread: So it's time to say goodbye.

Cool So it's time to say goodbye.

I'd my calculations are correct, i have around 9-10 weeks left until my departure for Basic Training. Given that this last few weeks have been immobile due to the snow, I have decided that, for the best course of action, to spend most if February, March and the few weeks of April I have to get physically and mentally prepared.
I know I've been mentioning it here and there, but I am truly determined to do this. To better motivate myself, I've began to pull away from MSN, Skype, TFF, just so I have more time to get my bearings. I want to make sure that I am at my absolute best. Otherwise, there is no point.
So, TFF, I bid thee farewell. I know that I am not very wellknown here, but the few people that I communicate with have helped me over the months. Meier, the badass brother figure of TFF, who first got me addicted to TFF. Sabin, my good friend who I could talk about any system, game or movie with, laugh, and ask for advise. Mel, one of those that I would be able to talk about anything with, especially FLCL. Sheena, that all-knowing presence I could ask anything of. Ann, that crazy artist whom I am nothing compared to. A good friend in need, and an awesome buddy to laugh with. Storm, albeit we haven't spoken recently, our time in TFS was awesome. I'll always have laughs over our random msn chats. CPC8, thank you for letting a Freshman join your ranks. When I travel to foreign worlds, I will spread the word of the most epic Frat ever. And finally, Alucard, my buddy who is already overseas. Don't worry: I'll be joining you soon on that sub!
To everyone, thank you. I will visit from time to time in these next few weeks, but as it gets closer to April 22nd, my visits may get less frequent. I'll definitely visit afterwards, too, and give y'all a heads up of what I've been into.

The very best of luck to you, Ruin.

It's always sad to see a member go, especially one as well known as yourself. I haven't really gotten to know you; I'm not on too much as I'm usually at work, but good luck on your basic training. Pop back whenever you can.

You gotta do what you gotta do man. We'll all be here, so if you need any moral support or even a kick in the ass, we'll be here for ya man. Just train hard and get your head ready for what you're gonna be doing. And don't be a stranger.

I don't know you, but I will say good luck to you. The best advice I can give you about Basic Training is to remember that it is all a head game. You will get broke down physically by the drill sergeants. Also you can never do the right thing. Just do what you are told and take the ass chewing you get for it later. Don't get discouraged either. While it may seem like the DS is always mad, he or she is not. It's an act. They are just trying to make things as stressful as possible.

Good luck in all of your en devours,

Meier: Hey Pete, I said I started to, it just didn't end the with the same number of women. Then again this one is kind of on the outs with me if she doesn't straighten up and fly right so that means I will be back in it for the thrill of the kill. Got some in the reserves. Even got a rePETEr (<---- like that ay? AYYYYY?) on the back burner.

Block: I do like the rePETEr except it kinda makes it sound like you're going to pork Pete. No homo.

Good luck man. Every day when you're waking up at the crack of 4 AM, just remember this quote from me to keep you going.

"Time to suck today's d ick!"

Then smile, get up, and enjoy it no matter how shitty it may be in basic.

Seriously though, best of luck. **** that shit uuuup.
