Hi, my friends call me Sang Hee or just Sang, I'm into all kinds of creative things; writing, painting, movie making, etc.
I've never been a part of any FF community so I wanna know what others think of the games. There's apparently a lot to talk about and I'm a very curious person.
I also play videogames but not that much anymore, I just stay faithful to Final Fantasy and Dynasty Warriors series, everything else is just optional.

How is it going with fandom lately? I imagine the newer games don't live up to the hype as much as they used to. But that's the age we live in right now.

Welcome to THE Final Fantasy forums!

I'd say the latest games DID live up to the hype, but probably not on here. Most of the people on here grew up playing Final Fantasy, there aren't many who just got into the fandom. If there were, there'd be more people loving the latest games.
Still, I have the impression that most of us are that much into FF that they play all games, no matter when they were released.

I, personally, can't wait for XIII-3. It's pretty different from most of the older games, but that's what makes it interesting

I think with the amazing overhaul received by FFXIV and the hype train building around FFXV, the series will garner the attention it once had soon enough.

I haven't played FF12 and disliked 13 but I enjoyed FF13-2, so all is not lost. I actually like the direction 15 is going so I'm hoping the fans will come together again and it will be exciting to be a fan once again. It would be a shame to let the series die, even if most of the original team has left the developer studio.
Anything bad can be used for good, FF draught has inspired me to create my own series and survive.
